Vacation at Cape Arkona - sun, beach, sand, wind and what more could you want!

Hello, dear vacationers,
We would be delighted to welcome you to our cozy vacation rental in Putgarten on Cape Arkona.
It’s important to us that you can spend the most important days of the year—your vacation—in our “Strandgut-Arkona” vacation rental as enjoyably as possible. To that end, we’ve furnished the apartment according to our own ideas and vision to create a lovely vacation setting. Important for your vacation—unfortunately, our vacation rental is not pet-friendly!

Our ground-floor vacation rental has its own driveway with a parking space. This parking space is located directly at the entrance to the house.
If you’re traveling with an electric or hybrid vehicle, please let us know before booking the vacation rental. Charging isn’t possible via the existing electrical service connection, as our electrical grid isn’t designed for that purpose. Charging stations for your vehicle are available for a fee at the Putgarten parking lot (approx. 300 m away).

Since our apartment is located in the end unit, you have access to the property area by the terrace and in the gable end. This gives you plenty of space to relax. Both areas of the property face south-southwest, so you’ll always find a sunny spot. Thanks to the design of the balconies above the terrace, you’ll have a covered area in case it rains and you’d like to sit outside. The patio furniture consists of: four chairs, two stools, a table, a wooden bench, and a cushion box with various seat cushions.
We’ve completely renovated the living room. It was important to us that the available space be put to good use. In the evenings, you can sit comfortably on the two-seater couch or in the armchair, place the two stools under your feet, and watch TV, read, or simply enjoy your time. The dining area is designed to be cozy, whether you’d like to sit together longer than usual during meals or play a game.
You’ll find these in the sideboard. In addition, we’ve provided a selection of books in the apartment. If you find a book you’d like to read but don’t finish during your vacation, feel free to take it with you!!
We’ve also completely updated the bedroom. The mattresses are from “BETT ..” (the ones from the commercials) and each has a firmness rating of 3 or 4. You can flip them over to adjust them to your sleeping preferences. The beds and pillows are all new. These are “four-season blankets” that you can use together or separately depending on how warm you need to be. The single blanket is perfect for the height of summer. Our vacation rental is equipped for two adults and one child. If you’re traveling as a group of three, you can set up an extra bed in the bedroom or use the sleeping area in the living room.
Our bathroom features a shower with a clear-glass shower enclosure. The mirror and the sink with built-in vanity cabinet are new, as is the storage shelf. There are plenty of places to hang your towels. The bathroom has a very modern design.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need. All the kitchenware—including glasses, dishes, silverware, pots, a toaster, a coffee maker, an egg cooker, a kettle, etc.—is brand new.
We hope you have a wonderful vacation on Rügen! The only things we can’t control are the weather, the wind, or making the sun come out. But in return, you’ll find unspoiled nature here!
