This place is located in Percy which is close to Mont Saint Michel and the Normandy beaches. The house and property are beautiful. The property manager was kind and responsive.

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in dem gemütlichen Haus verbracht. Die Lage und das große Grundstück sind fantastisch. Die Ruhe und Idylle fehlen mir jetzt schon. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Bei der Ausstattung wurde mitgedacht, nicht gespart und auf Details geachtet. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Rezensionen finde ich die Regeln/ Hausordnung nicht "übertrieben", sondern angebracht und selbstverständlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war tadellos, prompt und sehr freundlich. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Maison bien rénovée avec communication difficile

La maison a été bien rénovée avec 2 grandes chambres au 1er étage et 2 chambres pour enfants au 2ème étage. Nous avons été néanmoins très surpris par la communication avec les hôtes qui commence par un règlement intérieur de 8 pages dont je cite quelques extraits. Il était difficile également de demander le nombre de chambres nécessaires et les hôtes m’ont demandé l’âge des différentes personnes à héberger. « Si la cheminée n’est pas nettoyée, nous retiendrons 50 euros. » « Il est interdit d’allumer les bougies coniques, en cas d’allumage d’une des bougies, 30 euros par bougie seront déduits de la caution. » « Si le lave-vaisselle n’est pas vidé, nous déduirons 25 euros » (affiché en allemand dans la maison). « Les ressources en eau et en électricité doivent être utilisées avec parcimonie. » La connexion wifi est gratuite mais attention des conditions d’utilisation sont rappelées néanmoins. Ce règlement incluant de très nombreuses interdictions et menaces financières ainsi que les questions posées participent à créer un climat désagréable et pas forcément propice à la détente. Nous avons eu le sentiment de ne pas être les bienvenus avant même notre arrivée, ce qui paraît assez contradictoire pour une maison qu’on loue.

Erholung in landschaftlich reizvoller Umgebung, perfekt ausgestattetes Haus

Dieses Landhaus hält, was das Inserat verspricht, unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar noch deutlich übertroffen. Dies betrifft sowohl das liebevoll restaurierte Haus selbst und seine äußerst geschmackvolle Ausstattung, die eine große Sorgfalt bis in jedes Detail offenbart, als auch den großen Park / Garten (wunderschöne gepflegte und großzügige Anlage, Verkehr ist zu keiner Zeit hörbar) und alles darum herum. Hier lässt es sich wirklich abschalten und entspannen. Der Vermieter ist jederzeit kontaktierbar und bietet sofortige Unterstützung bei aufkommenden Fragen, sehr angenehmer Kontakt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können Le Hamel Castel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
