Located on a bluff on Lagoon Pond in Oak bluffs, with tidal salt water on two sides, this home has a modern kitchen, three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The house is built entirely of cedar, inside and out. The lower level has a large living-room (with a stone fireplace, large flat screen TV, and view of the water), and kitchen/dining room (with dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, microwave, and granite counters). The upper level has a master bedroom (with king-size bed, large closet, and a modern private bath with steeping tub and power jets) which opens to a deck with room for several chairs and has a great wide view of Lagoon Pond and Vineyard Haven beyond. The second and third bedrooms also are on the upper level (queen beds). The property has stairs that go down to a private beach and a private 90 foot L-shaped dock with a 10'x15' platform on its end. It is located in a very quiet area, yet only 2 1/2 miles from the center of town. Cable service and high-speed Internet are included

Amazing waterfront stay

  • 5 of 5

Really impressed with the views and just how amazing the property was. We grilled out, went swimming off the dock, napped in the hammock. Couldn't ask for more. We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend here! Highly recommend Jeff's place.

Wonderful week enjoying fabulous views and well-equipped home

  • 5 of 5

The owner, Jeff, was a pleasure to deal with. The views and outdoor seating areas were fantastic. The master has a great full bath, walk-in closet and terrific balcony overlooking the Lagoon.

The kitchen was well-equipped for our family of 6.

The location worked nicely to get in and out of OB and Edgartown and is in a nice, private and quiet area.

Wonderful Honeymoon Week!

  • 5 of 5

This quaint property was lovely with arguably the nicest view of the lagoon. We loved the master bedroom with the mornings of opening the shades to see the water. Everything we needed was on site and the owners were within contact if needed. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was on hand.

We sailed to MV and kept our boat at the dock, so we used taxis to get around, with average fares of @$5.00 If you plan to take a ferry, make your taxi reservation the night before as they get busy in the mornings.

We hope to return soon!

Well kept with all sorts of amenities. Some light switches were a challenge to find.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week. This well kept summer camp dwelling has great views of the lagoon and though we had unusually hot temperatures for our time period, the breezes from the lagoon kept us quite comfortable. The place is filled with antiques and walls of books that add to the quaint ambiance and make for a relaxing and interesting stay. Asthmatics however, should make sure to bring appropriate medications as the books tended to cause slight respiratory problems for one of our group. We all agreed that we would definitely like to return here for another stay in the future. Enjoy your stay at this unique picturesque home.

Magnificent views

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with an extended stay, and we could feel our blood pressure drop and heart rate slow as we walked to the back of the house and saw the view. It simply could not have been better. I can only repeat everything in Ragini P's review. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped. Our time there was magical. The owner is responsive, and so concerned that people feel at home, which we certainly did. Would highly recommend this home.

Stunning views and serene vacation

  • 5 of 5

We found the owner to be extremely responsive and accommodating. It definitely gave us the perfect Martha's Vineyard experience too.... Quaint, peaceful, gorgeous sunset views, hammock and swing to relax in as you enjoy the sea breeze and soak in the sun. The house had tons of space, linens, towels, wifi, games, dishes, laundry dryer, you name it! Highly recommend and we hope to be back again. Lovely must stay property!
