Totally private house it is ideal for families who want to spend an unforgettable weekend in Valle. The space has been recently renovated and is trully enabled for a wonderful and unforgettable visit. Currently, the hot tub that you see in the pictures is fully functional.
The experience begins at the entrance to La Casita through a completely new stone corridor among the undergrowth of La Peña, it reaches the main entrance through a ramp accompanied by beautiful views. Please take into account that access is complicated and stairs have to be climbed.
ACCESS, DUE TO ITS CONDITION, IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OLDER PEOPLE, CHILDREN WITHOUT AN ADULT SUPERVISION OR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ANY PHYSICAL DISABILITIES.
There is a full kitchen and grill overlooking the lake with espectacular views to prepare and enjoy foods. The grill works with coal which you must bring in order to use it.

Wood for the fireplace must be asked for in advance, it costs $350 pesos for a full load which should last for the whole weekend.
We ask to take care of the space as if it were your own. All our love, commitment and care is placed in every corner of the Casita and we hope that it is respected and maintained.
As The Casita is located within amazing boulders and grates of La Peña, sometimes it is common to find spiders inside the property, sometimes other insects, sometimes you'll see Quiznikies and country mice. If any of your company have any type of allergies or phobias, please check with us before booking.
El Escondrijo Is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, where people come to rest and enjoy the calmness and beauty of the space. We as host expect our guests to be considerate and respectful with our community, therefore, ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED DURING YOUR STAY. In order to abide to the policies of our neighborhood, We will also ask our guests to lower the volume of the music below 65 dB after 2300 hours.
Access to Club El Escondrijo is not included. But if you so desire for U$45 (per person per weekend) you could play tennis, padel tennis, ping-pong, get access to the swimming pool. Depending upon availability, you could go kayaking or waterskiing (ask for pricing) or simply chill out by the lake. DUE TO CERTAIN COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY BEFORE REQUESTING ANY OF THESE SERVICES.
The use of the jacuzzi generates an energy recovery cost of $2,000 pesos per weekend (not included in the price of the rent). If you'd like some firewood, we can supply it for you for $350 per charge.
The Casita is located in The Escondrijo, one of the most exclusive, beautiful and traditional neighborhoods in Valle de Bravo. Means of transportation are needed to get to and from the Casita. Towncenter is only a 15 minute drive away. Taxi service is available.
