About this property

Peace & Tranquility + Apple Picking, Wine, S'mores, Fishing!

Relax at The Barn on the Creek! Disconnect, unwind, decompress and enjoy the tranquility. Situated on 1 acre, right next to the babbling creek, you'll have tons of outdoor space, a quiet neighborhood, and the comforts of home. Cozy firepit area, BBQ grill, outdoor dining table, 2 covered deck areas, and the peaceful sounds of the creek. Making s'mores by the fire pit and listening to the creek is definitely a highlight. The gentle creek is only 4-10" deep near the home, but just 1/2 mile down the road, some great trout fishing on Mountaintown Creek.

You'll also enjoy...
--Seasonal apple picking, peaches, Fall leaves, and year-round wineries (try Roo!).
--Nearby hiking, waterfalls, lakes, river tubing, fishing, boating, biking, shopping, and scenic drives.
--Downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge are great to visit and easy to get to.
--There are also 20 lakes in Northern Georgia! Some notable ones: Carter's Lake, Lake Blue Ridge, Lake Burton, and Conasauga Lake.
--Fort Mountain State Park is only a 10 minute drive - you can take a short hike to see an amazing sunset spot, camping, small lake with beach and paddle boats, playground and more.
--I have a great fishing guide to refer you to and more area recommendations when you book!

Pet-friendly - please include on your reservation.

Spring break in the North Georgia Mountains.
The stay was wonderful. Both of our boys enjoyed the serene outdoor setting. A lot of the local adventures are close by which the whole family enjoyed exploring, hiking, and Bear Claw Vineyards.

MLK weekend escape!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is the coziest cutest little property. The decor is perfect and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and organized. The property surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. We loved the s’mores station, the fire pit right next to the creek, and playing in the creek. We will definitely visit here again.

We're so excited to host you at The Barn! Our favorite thing to do there is make s'mores, catch fire flies, and hear the sound of the creek. There's so much to do in the area! We love being outside and exploring the nooks and crannies of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Have a wonderful time!

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because it was so peaceful. We loved the barn look, how cozy it is inside, the amount of outdoor space, the creek, the wildlife, and the quiet. It's close to a main road but just far enough that you feel tucked away.

What makes this property unique

You'll love the setting, the tongue and groove wood, the front and back decks, relaxing by the creek, the fire pit, the drive in, and all there is to do in quaint little Ellijay!
