Enter through the mud/gear room on the lowest level. There's plenty of room for your skis, bikes, boots, etc. From there you enter the entertainment room complete with a kitchenette with mini fridge and sink. There's a pull out couch that sleeps 2. This level also has a full bathroom and a bunkroom that sleeps 6 (2 sets of twin over full bunks). A full size washer and dryer are located on this level for your convenience.
Upstairs is the great room with soaring ceilings and a wall of windows with breathtaking views. Enjoy the real mountain cabin feel! The living area features a 65" Smart TV where you can stream your favorite movies or shows. The great room also includes a dining area and a large kitchen - all with lots of natural light. There's a bedroom with ensuite bath on this level. The bedroom has a king bed and a full size futon and has big mountain views. A guest half bath is located on this floor, too.
Head upstairs to another ensuite bedroom. This large room has a king bed and a full bath with both a walk-in shower and a jetted tub. There's a Juliet balcony with views of the Headin' Home ski run. This master bedroom opens up to the loft sleeping area with twin day/trundle bed and a full futon (the loft sleeps up to 4).
High speed fiber optic Internet allows you to keep in touch with the outside world or stream your favorite shows.
TRUE Ski-In Ski-Out: Walk up a short distance (photo with wooden steps) from the house and you're on Headin' Home ski run (a green ski run). Turn left and ski all the way down the mountain and pick up the Chile Express hi-speed quad chairlift coming back up the mountain. Coming off the lift at the top, ski down, staying on Headin' Home Ski Run. Look for the BIG BEAR CABIN sign on the left side of the ski run. Take the very short path to the house. Leave your skis on the ski rack and walk indoors. There are very few Angel Fire homes located this close to a ski run.
A new hot tub was installed on the deck in the fall of 2022.
We recommend that anyone coming to the mountains in winter have a 4WD or AWD vehicle. The driveway will be plowed whenever we get 4 inches or more of snow.
This home is located high above Angel Fire, right on the ski/bike mountain at an elevation of 9,900 feet. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the incredible mountain views.
