Magnifiquement restaurĂ©e, la maison de 2 chambres (plus le grenier) apporte une vie contemporaine Ă  ce joyau cachĂ© Ă  seulement 2 heures de New York. Nous avons vidĂ© la maison en incorporant complĂštement des Ă©quipements modernes comme une toute nouvelle cuisine en acier inoxydable avec des comptoirs en granit, un parquet en bambou et une grande terrasse pour profiter de la vue sur l'Ă©tang Ă  quelques pas. DĂ©tendez-vous dans le salon en regardant le feu ou la tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat 3D ou simplement en regardant par la fenĂȘtre d'image pour voir le poisson sauter dans l'Ă©tang juste Ă  l'extĂ©rieur de la grande fenĂȘtre d'image. Shmooze dans la cuisine ou Ă  la table de la salle Ă  manger Ă  quelques pas des portes coulissantes vous emmenant sur le pont rĂ©cemment construit pour dĂźner en plein air. Descendez le quai Ă  quelques pas de la maison pour nager dans l'Ă©tang rafraĂźchissant ou utilisez notre kayak pour une pagaie tranquille. Notre maison est un endroit idĂ©al pour toutes les saisons; regardez les feuilles changer Ă  l'automne, les fleurs fleurissent au printemps, prĂšs du ski en hiver et beaucoup de plaisir aquatique en Ă©tĂ©. La maison est situĂ©e directement sur Robinson Pond; un Ă©tang de 100 acres permettant bateaux Ă  moteur Ă©lectriques, kayaks, canoĂ«s, baignade et pĂȘche. La maison est Ă  30 miles de Tanglewood, prĂšs de Jacob's Pillow, Ă  une courte distance en voiture de Bash Bish Falls. Cet emplacement est idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  proximitĂ© de NY ainsi que des Berkshires ainsi que de la randonnĂ©e, du ski et de la natation. PrĂšs des domaines skiables de Catamount et de Butternut.

This was a first time using VRBO. The place exceeded our expectations. Beautiful quiet area. Within a 40 minute drive is Hudson, a cute little town. We found a fun place for lunch called Warren 225. 40 minute drive to the Norman Rockwell Museum, and an hour and 40 from the Mark Twain house and museum. We plan to return.

Perfect Getaway

This is the perfect getaway with a wonderful position on the lake, very comfortable interior and excellent outside space and seating. We had a great time and in every respect it exceeded our expectations.

A Nice Lake Getaway

This was a quick weekend getaway for us and the property checked all the boxes we needed - especially the location being right in the lake. Plenty of room for the three of us and had the amenities we needed including the kayaks.

Optimal Location

Waterfront amenities and a very nicely updated interior. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for fully accessing the Berkshires and within driving distance of Hyde Park, NY. The site offers kayaking, swimming, fishing-- more activities than we had time to pursue! The hosts were responsive and welcoming, and the property is well-priced. We will return.

A gem.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the cottage. We love the location at about an hour from our home in the Hudson Valley. The cove it's locate on is populated with homes but the lake is never crowded. My spouse swims across the cove easily. If you enjoy watching fish jumping for a fly, fog dancing on the water and a well appointed cottage with comfortable beds, this is the place.

Lake house getaway

We loved this place especially for its easy access to the lake! They have a wonderful deck right on the water where my husband and I had our morning coffee watching the sunrise and the fish jumping (literally jumping!) Also so easy to get in and out of the kayaks. We loved this home mostly for the easy access to enjoying the outdoor area - dinners on the deck and fires at night. But the home was great too - beds supper comfortable, lovely fire place and nice kitchen and bathroom. We look forward to staying there again next year!

Excellent getaway

I was looking for a getaway with my 18 year old son and when we walked in and he saw the house and then the kayaks he said "I love it, it's perfect" and went right down to the water and got in the kayak. We had a great time relaxing in the comfortable beds and enjoyed the two man kayak as he paddled me around to catch some pretty big bass. Perfect place, will definitely come back.

Peace and quiet

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you. Property is on a pond where the main activities are swimming and fishing. There is a small private beach directly across the pond from the house. Requires a parking pass, which we could not locate so we did not use it. Neighboring houses very close but they were either not there or very quiet. Very nice kitchen which is important to us since we ate most of our meals at the cottage. Did not use attic bedroom but beds on main floor very comfortable with ceiling fans. My only complaint would be the Living room which is a bit austere and sofa uncomfortable. Listing said there was a paddle boat. Asked host about this and she said it had gone missing and said she would take it off the listing. Location is lovely in a rural area but less than 30 minutes to Hudson for shopping and entertainment.

Lake was great for swimming and kayaking and fishing! Was a very nice spot! Too hot to use the fire pit but it looked good. The household essentials were all there. Had to buy or make some ice, ice maker not working. Was a great trip! Thanks 😊

Fun & Serene Location for a Memorable Family Time

We thoroughly enjoyed some family time together at this beautiful getaway house by the lake with our three teenagers. The views of the serene lake are lovely! We liked fishing off the dock, kayaking, the fire pit and dinner on the deck overlooking the water. Our teen boys liked sleeping in the loft. We were very grateful we chose this house for our first ever trip to hike in the Catskills. Although Bash-Bosh Falls was closed due to renovations we found other great hikes with beautiful waterfalls that we will always remember.

Cute cottage

Quick Get Away

One hour commute to be closer to skiing. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate. This location is quiet and picturesque and would be an ideal location for hitting the slopes at Catamount or Butternut ski areas. Also, an ideal place for the summer overlooking a lake.

Beautiful property, Quiet Neighborhood

My partner and I had an amazingly relaxing stay 2 weeks ago. Ilana was wonderful! She replied quickly to all my messages and was able to accommodate our early check-in needs. The house was warm and cozy. Very clean with all of the supplies you need for a long weekend. Outdoor space was just enough for what we needed. Really wish we had a chance to kayak, but that just means, we will schedule a future date to come back!! Definitely recommend. Thank you Ilana for your hospitality.
