Enjoy easy access...Walk to the library, Restaurants, Shops, Bars, Clubs, Marina Jack's. The Ritz just down the street! Super strong Wifi, Comfy queen bed, work desk w/ flat screen TV. This is perfect space for students, singles, couples looking to experience downtown on a budget or not having a vehicle to get around.

Important Note:
Again, this is an efficiency room part of a 100 year old historic house. Lower your expectations coming in and you won't be disappointed. It IS a fantastic, small, clean and cozy space in probably the best location in downtown Sarasota priced at the most affordable rate you can find. It's simple yet incredible at the same time. We invite you to stay in a piece of Sarasota history and explore all that downtown Sarasota has to offer. Thank you!

Unclean and moldy

We felt there was misrepresentation due to the cheerful photos which this place is anything but cheerful. There is obvious flood damage and rot right on the front door and mold everywhere. The bathroom was cramped and unclean and there was no spot to hang a towel. The bed and coverings were very old and the mattress was just so bad there aren't words. We felt very unsafe in the neighborhood especially at night when there were people running by our windows at night from the police sirens and lots of motorcycles racing down the hi-way. The people upstairs became very agitated and started yelling out of the broken window that came crashing down in the middle of the night. We had to vacate the very next day.

Great location

Pros: location is great. Can walk to most things and public transportation can get to rest. Free trolley to beach. Very clean and management is responsive. Plenty of hot water. Heat and AC work well! Good laundry facilities. Cons: old. Floor in kitchen sloped and rotted wood in places. Kitchen supplies are limited. Internet is weak. Tv is roku tv.

Great location; shabby, ill-equipped unit

Positive features: * terrific location, a short walk to downtown restaurants and stores; *well-heated (and presumably cooled) unit; and *excellent shower. Negative shortcomings: * Dangerous step down between bedroom and bathroom; * unit needs paint and thorough cleaning; *kitchen poorly-equipped, for example, only one plastic cup and an old coffee cup to drink from; * very small bathroom with tiny sink, no toilet paper holder, no shelving, and toilet so close to wall that someone over six feet would need to sit sideways; * no nearby overnight street parking or easily-available parking in back alley; * need to stand on bed to reach chain for overhead light. * sent wrong door combination; correct one sent after we left home.
