Locked out and lies

I’ll start with the positive part of the stay. The location of the unit is excellent. It’s close to all you need. Sadly, that is one of the only positives. After driving eight hours from Utah, my friend and I followed check in instructions. The code we were given did not work. We, tired and hungry, waited at the property for an hour. We messaged the host on the VRBO platform, called her, texted her: all to no avail. Her kind neighbors told us she was in Barcelona on vacation and it was 3:30 am in Spain and she was asleep. We had no choice but to get a hotel for the night.Once in the hotel room, we heard from the host three hours later. She informed us she was “travelling” and told us she would reimburse us the amount of money we wasted. She did not reimburse us the money she told us she would and told us not to write a bad review in exchange for the reimbursed money. Moreover, when we moved the couch in the unit the floor was dirty and the tap water was undrinkable: I was forced to purchase bottled water from the grocery store when I was finally able to access the unit when the host woke from her vacation slumber. Overall, the unit is in a beautiful corner of the world. I do not feel comfortable giving this person my business in the future due to her multiple lies and the condition of her property.

Great location

Our family of five enjoyed the location and the condo layout. The shuttle bus stop is conveniently located close to the condo, the view of the mountains is beautiful, the condo is spacious and has everything you need. Parking is right in front of the condo. The condo is located on the first floor so it’s convenient to get in and out quickly. The fire place works really well and we didn’t need to turn on the heaters at all.

Great X-mas Getaway

Came here over Christmas, and was excited to find this place was in walking distance from VONS as well as restaurants. Very comfortable interior as well, all around a great experience. As it located within an older but modernized complex, one can hear the neighboring kids running around, but it was no bother.

Great base camp

Lovely place to explore Mammoth. Five minute walk from a useful plaza and fron the scenic town walk. We arrived in a blizzard but the housing communith had the snow cleared within a few hours. Condo was warm and cozy even when over a foot of snow was falling iutaide.

Wonderful family time

Perfect location and set up for traveling with children. Very convenient to groceries, restaurants, walking path, shopping. Quiet condo complex. Nice to have a DVD player to enjoy family movie night. We had one of there best family vacations we’ve ever had.

Was perfect for three adults. Kitchen a bit cramped but other rooms are fine. Jacuzzi is close and nicely HOT

Great location!

We loved the location- walking to Vons and the free local shuttle stop was the best, and the walking path right behind the complex was great. Bunk beds in the second room were great for our kids.

Easy an convenient

The property was exactly as advertised and just what we needed. We actually ended up riding the shuttle to the mountain to avoid the hassle of parking, which was even better than we expected. Easy walk to the grocery store and restaurants.

Great location, spacious cabin

Good deal for the price. Cabin is warm, spacious and sleeps 5 comfortably. Was clean and well equipped, only thing missing was a kettle (there was a coffee maker). The location is excellent, very close to Vons, movie theaters, ski stores, fast food etc. If you're after cheap groceries, check out Grocery Market, Bargain Outlet. Recommend taking the green bus line which goes to Eagle Lodge as it's quieter than Main and Canyon which can be hectic. Hosts were responsive when we texted with a question. Would definitely return.

Disappointed

Hot tub was not working. BBQ was too dirty to use. Never saw a Sauna (not saying there wasn’t one) People that lived in the condos were always hanging outside smoking and drinking. Don’t leave anything behind; like a tissue in the garbage or soap in the shower or they will take a photo and send it to you threatening to not give you all your deposit back.

Good location / busy

We were in a 3-day fishing tournament, so we were gone most of the day. It seemed like there were families that were more permanent, working. The main bed had a memory foam mattress, which did not work for my Brother. He switched the bedding to the pull out couch. All in all it was a nice condo !!!!!! " It did have a view of the Sherwin mountais "

Very good experience - would choose a better location next time

The condo was great- even had a little step stool for our toddler. The oven broke while we were there, and Kristen was very responsive and reimbursed us some for the inconvenience. Next time we come, we would aim to stay closer to the village. The pictures showed a kids outdoor play fort, but it is no longer there, which was a bummer for us with a 2yo.
