The cabin was in a great location at an extremely good price, not far out from the Frio. More importantly the landlords were extremely kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this place to others.
Such a quite, beautiful rustic getaway. It was faraway, yet very close. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Becky was very helpful and welcoming. My family loved it and we will be back when the river is flowing.
We had a great stay at this well appointed home. Lots of hill country birds were seen on property to our delight. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. Buy any condiment you might want during your stay as the local markets are very limited!
Cabin was really nice, clean, and with everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. Kitchen well equipped with pots and pans and great bbq pit!! Plenty of deer to see making it really ice for kids, awesome stay!!
We came for a weekend to relax and float on the Frio River. The cabin was quite larger than I expected. My family of 4 had a blast and will definitely book again.
We wanted a cabin off the “beaten path” and that is exactly what you should expect. It had everything we needed. It was clean, welcoming and expect the deer to come right up to the front porch. We had a great time hiking at Garner State Park and coming back to the cabin to relax, fix dinner and watch a movie before calling it a night.
The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing and that was just what we were looking for. It had an air of peace. It was very clean. The television was a little iffy, the picture was not clear and it took awhile for the channels to come in.
Check-in process was easy. The cabin was clean with most items needed for our stay. If I could suggest a few things, provide a starter supply of coffee pods, creamer, and togo cups, as well as salt and pepper at least, would have been very helpful. We would also suggest fixing the water pressure issue in kitchen. It did fit our needs as a small family with teenagers. Having the extra bathroom was super nice.
Absolutely loved this cozy, rustic, but charming cabin. Nice quiet location and the trees provided privacy. Tastefully decorated and clean. Nicely furnished. The cabin had enough dishes and kitchen gadgets. Convenience store is close by for basics. We really enjoyed playing games and watching Christmas movies by the fireplace.
Miss. Becky was a fantastic host—always available and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We look forward to booking with her again!
