Charming Farmhouse in Carmel Valley

The Briggs Farmhouse is a 1920's 2-story charmer on a secluded ranch in Carmel Valley. A quick drive to Monterey or Carmel - this is a perfect home base to explore the Monterey Peninsula then come back to a relaxing and quiet space. The perfect countryside getaway.

The space
Bedroom 1: This bedroom is located on the second floor and features a King Bed with a small sofa making the perfect relaxing reading nook. There is a bathroom upstairs that consists of a toilet, sink, and bathtub.

Bedroom 2: This room is attached to the King Bedroom upstairs and features a trundle (twin bed with second a rollout twin bed underneath). There is TV in this room and a door that leads to a small balcony. The upstairs bathroom is connected to this room as well so others would need to go through this bedroom to access it.

Bedroom 3: This room is located downstairs off of the dining room and has a Queen Bed as well as a TV and lots of closet space.

Game Room: This room is located downstairs and is the perfect spot for a game night or some friendly poker. This room also has a sofa bed that pulls out into a queen bed for additional sleeping room.

Study Room: This is a relaxing spot to work from home at the desk facing an open meadow and have a cup of coffee or read a book from our library in the sunlight.

Dining Room: Seat up to 8 people in the dining room for a cozy lunch or dinner that overlooks the meadow.

Bathroom 1: Full bathroom downstairs with rainfall shower head and bathtub

Bathroom 2: Located upstairs this bathroom has a toilet, bathtub, and sink.

This house is designed for group entertaining. It is relaxing and comfortable enough to house 8 guests, while providing each guest the privacy of a private room. The Briggs Farmhouse is located just 5 minutes off Hwy 68, so is an ideal starting point for groups planning to spend time on the Monterey Peninsula, in Big Sur, or at the Laguna Seca Raceway!
Guest access
The entire house and surrounding outdoor area is accessible. There is space for 4 vehicles in the driveway. The neighborhood is beautiful and perfect for morning strolls, or a cycle around the loop (Corral de Tierra loop is 16 miles and is known as a cycling destination). The region is called the Pastures of Heaven and is home to beautiful rolling hills, seasonal streams, deer, wild turkey, and dozens of bird species.
Other things to note
***Please be aware that there is no A/C in the house and it can get warmer during the days in the summer months. The nights are usually fine as the temp cools off still at night. We provide portable fans and heaters for the 4 bedrooms.

Events are not allowed at this property unless they are previously discussed with the host. An event is any gathering where guests not included in the headcount listed at booking would be on site. We do not allow day guests unless previously approved.
