This location was perfect for a weekend getaway for 4 couples. We all could find things to do in the surrounding areas that appealed to our interests. Being able to find a multi-bedroom home that isn’t just bunk beds in every room isn’t always easy. The hot tub was amazing for a quiet 5am soak before everyone else got up.This is the location to pick if you’re looking to get away with a group of friends who like peace and quiet.
We stayed for two nights and host Easter. It was clean, beds were comfortable and space was perfect. Hosts responded quickly.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Cabin needed some cleaning, Cobwebs in windows, fridge was dirty, multiple spiders downstairs, kitchen missing some items, Table seating was limited for meals. Beds were very noisy but comfortable. Beautiful location. Cabin is nice. Host was responsive to questions and recommendations.
This was a great place for our family vacation. The house had all amenities that a family needs. Proximity to Whiteface is convenient and the ride to Lake Placid is picturesque. Also found the town of Ausable Forks was close by for last minute items we had forgotten to bring.
We had a great stay in Jay. Lovely house, responsive host. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffeemaker and filters. The beds are a little loud but comfortable. The hot tub was perfect after long hikes in the mountains!
Host was responsive, place was very clean and cute. House is drafty in places, window doesn't lock in living room, heat in three bedrooms did not work because thermostats needed new batteries, which we changed. The railing to the downstairs and to the loft are dangerous in my opinion. We have shared feedback directly with the owner about the railings but if you have real small children who might slip through pickets spaced far apart or older/disabled people who need railings for safely traversing up and down, be aware. Hot tub was great, kids loved the gaming downstairs.wifi was not great. Again, not a contractor, just my opinion. I would stay here again.

Thank you Thomas. Received your detailed feedback. Really appreciate you taking time. We will monitor the batteries. Supposed to last for years. Glad you all enjoyed your stay.
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mancy's home. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Jay. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. We would definitely stay here again.
The house is perfect for 10-12 people and has a lot of space for everyone to hangout. Location is great, it is a quiet area and about 15-20 minutes from whiteface mountain for those who love to ski and snowboard. If you need a place for a few friends or family, I 100% recommend this place!!!
We had a great stay overall. About a 1/2 hour from most of the major high peak attractions in the area. We had issues with the dryer, but everything else was as advertised.
Cabin was great and had a charming feel. It fit everyone well. Check in was easy. Cell reception is spotty, but the WiFi makes up for it. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
The house was exactly what we needed. The owner was communicative and helpful. It had the perfect amount of beds, and easy check-in/check-out. Not far from Lake Placid and close to many different hikes/climbs. I would rent again.
Overall amazing stay here. Loved the decor throughout, really felt like we were living in a cozy cabin. All new appliances were nice and kitchen was very well equipped. Hot tub was very nice after a long day out. Lots to do around. Also host is super friendly and responds quickly. Overall a must stay!
We had a great time at this cozy secluded house.
The cabin is very clean with new appliances. Host Mancy was very nice and helpful. The property meet our expectations and we will use again .
I rented this property to bring all my children & grandchildren together to experience the Adirondacks in the summer. We came from Florida & Pennsylvania. The space accomomdated the adults well as everyone had their own bedroom and the loft area was great for the kids, eobedroom
Our group of eleven people (and one dog) enjoyed a lovely long weekend here when we traveled to the ADKs to see the total solar eclipse of the sun. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The outdoor firepit and jacuzzi provided opportunities to unwind at night. Everyone had space to relax.
This farmhouse was really nice to stay in during our week long trip in the Adirondacks. Everything was very clean and very nice when we arrived and served our needs very well. Wifi worked really well and TV services were very good. Hot tub was also really good as was the firepit outside. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a nice home with a small group. Just be sure to respect the quiet hours and neighbors and you shouldn't have problems on that.
We loved our stay in this cozy farmhouse. A few key items were missing in the kitchen: wine glasses, good knives, kitchen towels, jcloths. Also not enough seating to sit down for dinner together. We ate With the adults sitting around the couch and the kids at the small round table.
We had a nice time in the house in general. It is located only 15 min away from the Whiteface mountain and that was very convenient for us because we like to ski. Also, we had two kids of 3 y.o. with us and we were very happy to stay in warm and clean house. Highly recommend this house!
