This NEWLY LISTED charming corner unit has been completely remodeled. As we are trying to build our new client base, we are now offering great introductory rates. Unlike many rental units on the islands, we took extra care with the smallest details. We want you to feel as 'at home' here on Kauai as we do when we visit from California. All new appliances including a radiant cooktop, fixtures, countertops, and carpeting were installed after the remodel. The unit boasts a tropical theme, accented by richly upholstered rattan furniture, hardwood deck, and views from every window. We provide lots of extras too including boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach chairs and a cooler case with re-freezable ice blocks.
A gangway leads you from the parking lot level to the unit's 2nd floor which overlooks a protected canyon greenbelt. Relax with a Mai Tai on the lanai above the treeline enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean while you're serenaded by a symphony of tropical birds in the plumaria, banana, and coconut trees below. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of an albatross gliding on the gentle trade winds.
The development is beautifully perched atop a bluff above a secluded, white-sand beach perfect for snorkeling and only a few lucky guests know its even there. This complex is perfect for those who want privacy, peace, and quiet from the typical tourist traps, but with all the amenities of civilization nearby.
Fine dining, golf, snorkeling, surfing, botanical gardens, shopping, and all the rest of Kauai's best are just minutes away. It is perfect for the romantic in all of us. Whether you are newly wed, renewing your commitment, or simply in need of a well-deserved respite, your hosts are sure you will return year after year.
We live in Oakland California and have been a couple since 1998. Casper is originally from New Jersey and Daryl from Northern California.
We took a trip hear early in our relationship and immediately knew it would be a place we would want to come back to again and again. We looked at many condo complexes but this one spoke to us. This unit is especially perfect for us and our guests. It is situated away from the pelting winds of the Northeast trades. Though it may not have a full frontal view of the ocean, our song birds and cooing doves in the protected greenbelt make up the difference. And did I mention the stunning sunsets! It is very quiet, away from roads and noise, and there's a peace and tranquility at Sealodge we haven't found anywhere else on the island.
This particular unit in B building was a mess and very dated. We gutted the interior and replaced everything except the windows and cabinets. We really wanted the unit as a second home for us and furnished it thus. Homey, spotless and everything in its place, plus everything we could possibly ever need when we travel here. It was only an afterthought to rent it as a vacation rental. We travel here annually and repair and replace immediately things in need. Our on-island agents keep tabs on anything needing our attention.
I celebrated my 60th last October with my family and stayed in this beautiful unit for our 12-day stay on Kaua'i's North Shore. The owners knew exactly what vacationers need and this place felt like our home in Kauai -- very comfortable and had everything we needed.
The place is located on the bluffs, overlooking the ocean and beaches down below. The lanai faces the ravine which adds to the tropical feel of the place, and the window in the living allows for a glimpse of the mountains and waterfalls. The unit is only a walking distance to St Regis Hotel at the end of Ka Haku Road ... you can enjoy morning strolls and if you are lucky, you may even see rainbows over the ocean.
This place is beautifully decorated and has a cottage feel to it. October was a nice time of year to be here and it felt cool in the evenings.
This unit is conveniently close to the parking area, so it is nice that you would not have to carry items too far from your car.

My wife and I spent five days in this remarkable and wonderful Sealodge condo unit. The unit is located at the same level as the parking lot, which is reached through a bridge walkway with several steps. The first impression on entering was very pleasing to the eyes and it was furnished like a model home, everything looked new and sparkling clean. Even though it seemed to be small, it was well planned and designed. The other surprise was the welcome package with an assortment of cookies, bottled water, and above all, the canvas shopping bag and a foldable, personal cooler. The view in lawn overlooking the ocean was breathtaking. We spent the next morning taking sunrise photography in the park bench on the right. This is located on a hill to the right and invisible from the bench on the left, where there is a steep path to the beach, where some reviews say is a good place for snorkeling. I would like to commend and applaud the staff at Kauai Vacations Rentals for their constant communication and caring before, during and after our stay.
This was a decent value. The condo is well equipped - towels, kitchenware, furnishings, etc. The location is great - in Princeville located on a bluff over the ocean. This unit has some partial ocean views and feels very private. Parking is good. The unit has no A/C - has a couple standing fans and a ceiling fan but because of the configuration of the unit, it gets very little cross-breeze through the room and therefore - when it's muggy and hot - stays muggy and hot. However, the place is quite nice, good furnishings and lots of details. I would probably stay here again.
Loved the location, end unit near forest and birds. Only a few steps to the ocean. Convenient to everything on this beautiful coast. Nicely furnished and comfortable.
Great value for the location. The size is just right for two people or two adults and two kids but would be really cramped with four adults.
The photos on the listing were accurate so the unit looks exactly like the pictures.
If you are a walker there are several beaches within walking distance.
We stayed at Sealodge in early December and had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and I would be hard pressed to come up with a better spot and more thoughtful owners to rent from. We did a great deal of exploring around the island and always had a nice comfortable place to return to each evening. On several occasions we spotted whales from the benches outside of the condo and had a couple of close encounters with them on a sail and snorkel cruise out of Port Allen. The north shore is quite rustic but we never ran into any crowds up there. An unexpected bonus was seeing so many albatrosses, some nesting in the yards right there in Princeville. We also had a couple of up close and personal incidents with some of the giant sea turtles. The beaches were great just for relaxing - especially Anini Beach. The beach a short but slippery hike from the condo is worth it if you are able and the surf is not too high. We were glad we had good thick beach shoes there to deal with the lava.

We urge our guests to purchase travel insurance. It is very reasonable and is offered by our on-island agency when booking your stay. It takes the fear out of loosing your deposit should your trip be interrupted for any unexpected delays. If you are staying with us Christmas and New Years a minimum of 7 days and a Maximum of 14 days is required.
For most accommodations, except for prime-time bookings, cancellations require a 90-day written notice for refund of your initial deposit less a $75 processing fee. If less than 90 days' written notice, the entire initial deposit is forfeited. If less than 60 days' written notice, the rent & excise tax are forfeited.
Deposit is required at the time of reservation which includes cleaning $110, security $200, $35 on-island agent booking fee, and optional travel insurance 60 days prior to stay. Holidays - deposit 90 days prior.
