Beautifully restored farmhouse and gite located near Carrouges in the Orne Valley in Normandy, France. Ideally situated in the peaceful French countryside whilst having access to the local village in just five minutes. The perfect French escape!
We would like to invite you to La Drutière, a beautifully restored 300 year old five bedroom Farmhouse and the Gables, a one bedroom attaching Gîte.

The tranquility of the location here is ideal if you want a relaxing holiday. The heated swimming pool and gardens are well situated to make the most of the sunshine and your accommodation has been designed to be homely and traditional and yet have all the modern conveniences you need.

You can explore the many historical sites of the region with ease, or simply enjoy the scenery and take advantage of the excellent restaurants in the area.

Was perfect for our 3 family group, pool in particular was brilliant, garden amazing, bbq area was very well used. Host very helpful and accommodating, overall, lovely holiday.

A lovely week with 3 generations together enjoying this beautiful rural spot. The huge garden was a delight, with bbq, play area and games equipment for all ages, and the heated pool was a great attraction. Pretty village with good shops a short drive away and plenty of day trips within 20 min drive.The old farmhouse house is very comfortable and characterful but beware steep steps and staircases if bringing very small children. Pool has an alarm but is not fenced.

Hi Liz, Thank you so much for your lovely review! 😊 We're so glad the whole family had a great time enjoying the garden, games, and heated pool — it's always a joy to hear when everyone has fun. As mentioned, we're planning to turn the kitchen steps into a ramp for easier access. The pool is secured with an alarm that meets French regulations, and two gates help limit direct access. We're also looking into fencing options and always exploring ways to make things even safer! so guests can fully relax. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für Gruppen. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gepflegt und bietet auf Grund der Größe und Ausstattung Möglichkeit für zahlreiche Aktivitäten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Beau séjour, superbe gîte !

Un très agréable weekend. Il ne manque rien dans le gîte et dans le jardin. La piscine est géniale (et chauffée), l'accueil chaleureux et la région très belle. Allez-y !

Superbe week-end !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la belle maison de Steven et Rachel. Le cadre est magnifique et nos hôtes très accueillants ! Malgré le fait que la location soit mitoyenne à la maison de Steven et Rachel, nous avons pu profiter jusque tard le soir sans commentaire de nos hôtes. Nous recommandons cette location avec grand plaisir !
