The Honey Pot is located in the Alpine Mountain Village Resort, which has numerous amenities of its own. In the summer you can splash about in its outdoor swimming pool, then laze poolside afterward. Little ones will love the playground and everyone can enjoy the walking trails and the covered picnic pavilion. All of this is less than a mile from Pigeon Forge Parkway, home to Dollywood, Tanger outlet mall, Wonderworks, Hatfield and McCoy Dinner theater and more!

As soon as you pull into The Honey Pot driveway, you’ll realize you made the right decision in choosing this 3-bedroom cabin for your Smoky Mountain getaway. The covered front porch is there to greet you with the southern charm of fresh mountain air. The large back deck has seating of its own. Even more relaxing is the deck’s roomy hot tub. Especially after a day of hiking, rafting, or exploring Dollywood, its massaging jets of water will feel so rejuvenating.

The interior of The Honey Pot is just as restful. The towering cathedral ceiling and wood-planked living room is a welcoming space for everyone to gather. Whether you're nestling on the sofa watching a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable or curled up in an armchair surfing the web via the free WIFI, you'll feel blissfully at ease. In winter the fireplace adds warmth and charm.

The dining table seats 6 people, and another 3 can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. While there are scores of restaurants nearby, serving up everything from Southern favorites to sushi, sometimes nothing beats dining in. That's why The Honey Pot's kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you could possibly need, whether you're whipping up a batch of pancakes for breakfast or hosting a holiday feast.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level and 1 bathroom. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. The upstairs level features a pool table for hours of fun and has its own bedroom and bathroom. A king-sized bed can be found on this level. Total sleeping capacity for this house is 6 people. Hurry! We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t use the fireplace and the pool wasn’t opened yet. We didn’t use the jacuzzi. The driveway was very steep and we had older guest and handicapped guest. All in all, the cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only problem we had was the parking wasn’t flat and was on an incline.

Booked this cabin for a last minute trip. Cabin was clean, conveniently located to town. Kids enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Getaway

Cabin was very clean and cozy. Plenty of room so we know next time we can bring our family with us. You get the cabin in the mountain feel, but very conveniently located to the Parkway. Our stay was AWESOME!!

Great place

This cabin is very clean and has a terrific location in the woods but only half a mile from the main road and all of the attractions. Great back porch and pool table for entertainment. Plenty of space for 6 adults.

Great location

The Honey Pot was conveniently located to Pigeon Forge activities. The pool table and keyboard were nice. The pool was close and the kids loved it after the days’ activities. If you like to cook your own meals, this is not the cabin for you however. The cabin was otherwise great.

Clean and convenient to attractions

Property was clean and convenient to all attractions. AC worked well. Showers supplied enough hot water for all who stayed. Refrigerator was clean and chilled well. Really dark and hilly. It is a real cabin in the woods.

Sweet as honey

Wonderful stay for our 2 adult, 4 teenager family. Kids really enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. We ate most meals in from takeout. Well equipped kitchen. Seating is 3 chairs at dining table (would have appreciated a bench seat or more chairs for table), and 3 bar stools at kitchen bar. Would highly recommend and would choose this cabin to stay again. We used the free tickets program to try some of the local attractions. Centrally located to all things Pigeon Forge.

Great property and location

This property was in a great location and close to everything. We never received the email with our entry code, but this was quickly resolved with a call to the after hours number. The one thing I can suggest is perhaps more bath linens as we found ourselves having to wash towels and washcloths twice to ensure we had enough for the duration of our stay. The ticket website was also confusing and difficult to navigate. So, we weren’t able to use it.

Great Location

This cabin is in a great location. It is located in a small neighborhood of rental cabins close to the main drag of Peigon Forge. This is however an older cabin that is very dated. The cabin was clean but there were some issues. The beds are very firm and that was not to our liking. The upstairs bathroom overhead light was not working and made the room very dark. There are several broken blinds throughout the cabin.

Honey Pot cabin was a honey hole!!!

The Honey Pot Cabin was as described on VRBO. Clean and spacious. Good amenities and great location! Shower head in downstairs bathroom could be a little larger but gets the job done. Some window blinds in living room & dining room had pieces broken off. Didn't really affect anything, just not good to look at. Loved the ease of getting in & out of the cabin. Enjoyed the pool table and keyboard daily! Beds mostly comfortable and clean. Pillows too soft for our liking but made do. We would stay here again!

Do Not Stay at the Honey Pot

This property is not how it is listed. These are some of the problems we encountered: The code to enter the property was given after check in time. We had to contact property manager to get in. Upon entering, the house was extremely hot. Someone had closed all registers on a 100 degree day. This took several calls to the property manager. The house started to cool down on day 3. Around 11pm on the first night, the fire alarm started going off. We contacted property manager and was told to unplug it- at the top of an 8 ft wall. After they told us there was nothing they could do, we call the fire dpmt and they said the smoke detectors were out of date and unplugged them to stop chirping. Only 1 of 4 TVs worked and the one that did work was not HD (think 1990). They sent a handyman to replace one of the TVs. Cable didn't work on any of them. Wi-Fi was turned off midway through the week. The property manager said it was AT&Ts fault and it never worked again. There were THC gummies left on the fridge and a bag of something (we didn’t open it) left on a mantle. All of the blinds were broken and curtains were dirty. You couldn’t sit on the porches because of an unknown stench. Linens and furniture were stained. Showers had no water pressure, sinks didn’t drain, and toilets didn’t flush well. Lightbulbs were burned out in upstairs bathroom. The vents were moldy and the air filters covered in dust. The entire property was dirty. If you walked around in socks, your socks turned gray.

We strive to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for all our guests, and it's clear that we fell short in your case. We're sorry about the delay with the entry code and the extreme heat upon arrival. This is not the standard we set for our property. We have addressed the issue with the registers and the response time from our property manager to prevent this from happening again. The situation with the fire alarm and the outdated smoke detectors is unacceptable. We have since replaced all smoke detectors to ensure they are up to date and functioning properly. We regret the inconvenience caused by the malfunctioning TVs, the lack of Wi-Fi, and the overall cleanliness of the property. We are working with our maintenance and cleaning teams to address these issues immediately. The presence of leftover items and the condition of the blinds, curtains, linens, and furniture are not up to our usual standards. We have already taken steps to ensure thorough cleaning and proper inspection before every guest's arrival. We are committed to making significant improvements based on your feedback and ensuring that future guests do not experience these issues. Your experience was far from what we aim to provide, and for that, we are truly sorry. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.
