Cabin was as described, everything worked great. I would definitely go back or recommend to anyone for a getaway. Proximity to hiking trails was a huge plus.
This stay was exactly what I needed to recharge to finish the school year. The relaxing hot tub, calming nights by the fire, and peaceful atmosphere made this an A weekend.
This place is perfect! My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here with a weekend getaway and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable. This cabin is perfect, this is your sign to book now!!!
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and baby-moon. Loved the location and everything was so clean, very well organized, and had all the amenities we could ask for! Loved it!
We stayed here for my friend’s birthday weekend and it was amazing! The little house is so cozy and cute! It is in such a pretty location, beautiful scenery! We will definitely stay here again!!
Secluded and near hiking, beautiful space that's just the right size for a couple or small group. Not far from town. Quiet, pretty place, with everything you need.
The cabin was exactly as described. Relaxing, all the comforts you need, and quiet!! We absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit. We were so sad to leave and are already talking a return trip next year. 10/10!
Our family had a fantastic time at the tiny cabin. We were impressed with how clean it was and how wonderful it was to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and chat.
Our host was great, very responsive. She gave us lots of ideas on what to do in Chillicothe. We enjoyed our time and would love to come back and stay at the tiny cabin again someday!
We stayed as a home base for visiting all of the Hopewell mound builders sites and Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
Sugarloaf was modern, comfortable, clean and private. We loved everything about it. It was perfect.
Sugarloaf Hillside cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our family's New Year getaway. It was clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with plenty of kitchen items and linens with games for all ages. The hot-tub was relaxing and perfect size.
We found hiking and Indian mounds nearby as well as a quaint downtown to explore.
Overall we had a memorable and enjoyable stay in this cute tiny house.

We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay as well as the surrounding area! Chillicothe has much to offer in the historic downtown area and at the American Indian mound sites.
My friends and I decided that we needed a get away, it was the best time spending time away from our jobs and enjoying nature. We saw all kind of wildlife and the store were amazing. The hot tub was fantastic as well. We enjoyed s’mores on the fireplace but the mornings were the best hearing all the wildlife around you. Will be back!
This property was everything they said and then some. There isn’t one thing I would change. We are recharged and well rested. It was very clean and well maintained. We will be returning to stay again.
Private and quiet but close proximity to local restaurants
My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. It was our first VRBO experience. It was surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. We saw deer, cardinals and chipmunks. My daughter said she’s never had a better night’s sleep. My husband said it was one of the best vacation stays. The modern amenities made me feel right at home. Looking forward to going again!
The property is new and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. We did not go in the lofts. Property is close to Chillicothe for restaurants and park for walking.
Gas grill was nice and kitchen was easy to cook in. We'll come back next time we're staying in the area. Perfect for two people.
Loved the cabin, both inside and out. Great craftsmanship and lovely decor throughout. Loved the area, both the quiet and the scenery. Was a perfect place to reconnect with our grandchildren. They loved the hot tub and the lofts that they slept in, along with the fire pit. Everyone enjoyed walking aaround the property and checking out the sights. Everything about this place is first class. Will definitely consider staying here again.
We loved the cleanliness and attention to detail put into the design of this property. Beautiful lot that’s off the beaten trail but close enough to civilization to get dinner and entertainment. Enjoyed looking at the woods and stars in the lighted hot tub and waking up with the foggy forest from the bedroom window. Good communication with host. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. 5 Stars all around!

Our family loves the outdoors! We frequently visit state and national parks to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. We built this cabin next to a state park because of our affection for the Great Seal and Hocking Hills state parks. Our hope is for our family, friends, and guests to enjoy this property and the surrounding areas for generations to come.
Why they chose this property
Sugarloaf Hillside is nestled in the woods on six acres next to a state park, but also within 15 minutes to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
What makes this property unique
