Formerly owned by actor James Cagney this has a relaxing desert vibe. Secluded with unobstructed views of Mt San Jacinto and Joshua Tree Nat park. Kids and dogs are welcome. Hiking trails throughout the property, glass sunset room if its windy or cold, multiple fire pits, lots of out door lounging. Perfect for large families or groups of friends.

Perfect Getaway

This is the 5th consecutive year my friends and I have done a Jtree trip for my birthday. We had an absolutely amazing time. The property was immaculate with all of the necessary amenities and the views from the mountain were amazing. I can't thank the host, Leo, enough. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had, whether through the app or text. And he was very accommodating. I would definitely return to this property. Thank you Leo!

Stunning and exceptionally clean

Wow. This is a house that is sparkling clean with amenities like a hotel but nestled in a private dessert/mountain oasis. Absolutely stunning. We were a group of friends who reunited after 10 years. A few also brought their infants/young children and the house offered a great deal of privacy for them. The house manager was very quick to respond and very helpful. I wish we could come back one day!

Great house for a group trip!

We really enjoyed this house for a group trip with family and friends to Joshua Tree! We had 10 adults, and the house had plenty of room for all of us. We especially enjoyed the kitchen - which had everything we needed to cook meals for everyone, the spacious living room, and the outdoor fire pit. The house is very close to Joshua tree so it was easy for us to go in hikes during the day. Highly recommend!

Best Decision

We were first struck by the awesome views and layout of the home. I wanted something special for my daughter’s wedding weekend and I can’t imagine a better location to get ready on her wedding day and to have their first look. I’m looking forward to the photographer’s photos with the beautiful backdrop. It was a small wedding in Joshua Tree so family and a couple friends stayed at the home and we were able to sit around the fire, cook and gather in the kitchen, play pool and video games, all which removed any stress and worry over entertaining. We loved how we felt alone and had such a big place to ourselves but we learned with a friendly note from the host that our outdoor music carries easily up there. There are gorgeous sunsets and one of my favorite parts was waking up in the morning and stepping outside onto the patio with my coffee. So peaceful.

Amazing Family Vacation

Beautiful house with amazing views. The feel of a luxury hotel but also extremely kid friendly. Everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect! Host was super responsive. House and grounds were amazing.

This house was spectacular. I went with 13 friends, and we had an awesome weekend. We were mostly indoors due to the inclement weather and the house was perfect for the occasion. This house is a total winner. Could not be better for larger parties.

A wonderful experience!

Our stay at this property was a wonderful experience. It was everything that was stated in the description of the property. The owner made sure to let us know that he would be available for any questions or issues we may have. Our stay was flawless. The view is spectacular with these beautiful large windows! The kitchen was well stocked! The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. We had no complaints. All appliances worked well. I am looking forward to staying here again. It was exactly what we need from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. Don't hesitate to book this property, you will not be disappointed especially if you are seeking a bit of isolation but yet not too far away from the main part of town. Perfect

We stayed at the property with 2 teenagers, 3 adults and one small dog. Everything was perfect. The game room was amazing and kept the kids interacting with the adults. It was a short drive to visit Joshua tree and other hiking trails. The hot tub was incredible. The filtered water (throughout the house I believe) was a treat. The popular shower was downstairs. I didn’t get a chance to use it, but the others throughly enjoyed it. Easy check in/out. The home was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Definitely plan to stay again in the future.
