Relax after a full day of adventuring at the Blue Heron Inn! This spacious one bedroom has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Located in a small 5 unit complex, The Blue Heron is our `homiest` unit and guarantees a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The Blue Heron sits within a small 5 unit complex and supplies all the comforts of home! Our space is pretty central to the Sarasota / Bradenton area and you can be at the beach or downtown in 20 mins.
Everything inside the unit is private and for your use only - all outdoor spaces are shared which include our front yard area and back yard.
We love socializing with our guests! You may see us on site and we will be sure to say hi to you! If you`d like any info on the area - ask away! We live for traveling and exploring new areas - we want you to have the best time here :)
A quiet and extremely safe neighborhood. We have a small shopping plaza just across the street with some stores and restaurants.
The best way to explore from our home is by renting a car. Typical Uber rides will cost between $25 - $30 to get to the beaches.
The Blue Heron does sit within a very small 5 unit complex. You will see other guests on site, however each unit really has its own private spaces so you`ll really only see people in the shared parking area
Please note the check in time is 5pm, however I will always send the check in as soon as the home is ready. Most times, I am able to send the check in around 3pm however It is never a guarantee. We will always try our best to get you in as early as possible.
** A 4% CHARGE WILL APPLY FOR ANY CANCELLED RESERVATIONS***
Friendly Reminders Before Your Stay:
Third-Party Bookings:
If you’re booking on behalf of someone else, please let us know in advance. We’ll need their full name, phone number, and a valid photo ID before approval. While your own Airbnb account is verified, a third-party guest is not—so this extra step ensures safety and compliance for everyone. Many hosts do not allow third-party bookings, but we’re happy to accommodate them with proper verification.
Damages & Responsibility:
Please treat the home with care during your stay. The booking guest is responsible for any damages, late checkouts, or additional cleaning required.
This includes plumbing issues caused by flushing foreign objects, excessive toilet paper, or baby wipes. If a plumber is needed to remove a clog or restore service, the cost of that visit will be billed to you as damage reimbursement.
Pets:
We love hosting furry friends! Please let us know before arrival so we can include the pet fee(s), which covers the extra cleaning care they require.
The fee is per pet—if you’re bringing more than one, we’ll manually request the additional fee after your booking is confirmed.
If a pet arrives unannounced or undocumented, a $300 fee will automatically apply after check-in.
Cancellations:
This reservation is non-refundable. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans in case something unexpected comes up.
Smoking:
The home is non-smoking indoors. Smoking is welcome outside only—please use designated areas and dispose of butts responsibly. A minimum $500 fee applies for indoor smoke remediation.
Extended Stays (29+ Days):
Stays over 29 days must be requested and approved in advance. We’ll require your photo ID, email address, and a signed lease agreement confirming your check-in and check-out dates.
No security deposit is required; however, there is a $365 private insurance cost that will be requested after booking.
Your reservation is not fully secure until the lease and ID are received.
