The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please strip beds, place all dirty towels and laundry and dirty bed linens in laundry room.
Please take out the trash, start the dishwasher. Please do not leave dirty dishes or pots and pans out to avoid ants. You can leave any good food in fridge for house cleaners if you don’t want it.
Please turn the hot tub down to 85 degrees. Make sure the beach key is hung back in place and house keys back in lockbox. Please clean out the bbq if you used it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Happy 30th Birthday!

A beautiful stay at Irish Beach. A favorite place for the family. This house is so easy and comfortable. We love the local shop and easy access to Fort Bragg as well!

The house is very cozy and has a beautiful view. When there was an issue with the hot tub, Miriam took care of it right away which was appreciated.If you plan to cook a lot, you may want to bring your own knives.

Great, quiet seaside retreat

Property was very clean and host had great communication prior to arrival. The location was beautiful and we had a great time. If you're looking for a quiet getaway in northern California, quickly accessible to the beach and the mountains, this is the rental for you!

Great Stay!

We had a lovely time. The house has many west facing windows which bring in a large amount of light and warmth, beautiful sunset views. Perfect size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed.

Great Vacation

Clean, great views, lovely beach!

We had a great stay at Karagatan. The house was clean and organized, great views and close to the private beach. The beach was practically empty so we had it mostly to ourselves. Absolutely no complaints, would recommend it to future guests.

Relaxing place for time away

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in Manchester. Lots to do in the area, and this home is in a central location close to it all. Daily walks on the beach, hiking amongst the redwoods, wine tasting, climbing lighthouse stairs, all within an hour. Good communications with the host, a lovely view, and a quiet neighborhood.

Our stay here was lovely. The place is a little on the older/creaky side and some of the doors/windows/screens show it but overall it was just what we were looking for. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and the location was ideal. Thanks!

Just wanted to add a quick note saying that we are in the process of updating the screens (a couple of them are a tiny bit frayed). The doors and windows all work just fine, so potential renters needn't be concerned. The house was built in the 80's and we like to maintain the rustic theme, so folks who are looking for a more contemporary feel might not be quite as impressed as those who like the woodsy atmosphere with the cedar walls and the large windows overlooking the ocean and the forest. Amazing five nights

My husband, son and I stayed here for five nights and couldn't have been happier. We were so comfortable in this house and loved exploring Irish Beach. We love to cook, and found everything we needed stocked in the kitchen. Our dog was one happy, tired camper, too. Thank you Kelley for providing us with such an outstanding getaway!

Fantastic Weekend on the Mendocino Coast

Booked a last minute weekend getaway with my wife and two young children. The house was perfect... spacious and cozy at the same time. We were looking for something quiet - and this place really fit the bill. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the hot tub. The owner was fantastic and easy to get in contact with. Really could not ask for more in a weekend escape. We look forward to coming back again!

Wonderful escape!

Somewhat rustic interior adds to the element of a beautiful secluded escape away with a gorgeous view of a private beach. Has everything you need hot tub, fireplace, TV, VCR, Internet or just unplug yourself and feel free to relax. 2 comfy beds and 2 baths, gorgeous view from the rear decks. What more could you want? Reasonable rates and a really sweet owner. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Nice house, great view

Nice house, great location, wonderful deck. Everything was as advertised. Really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is that we had run ins with ants despite keeping all our food in plastic bags in the cupboards, they were aggressive. This isn't uncommon for the area, but it was unfortunate. The BBQ was hard to use as the gas pipes were rusted to the point that they had large holes so that most the flame came out in one location.

A great trip!

Renting this comfortable house was a great experience. The house was a represented in the listing. Clean and fully furnished. It was a great home base while checking out the north coast of California. We made use of the kitchen cooking breakfasts, packing picnic lunches and multi course dinners. The hot tub was a hit every evening to soak our tired bodies after a day of hiking. The weather was great and Montgomery Woods is well worth the trip to see Old Growth Redwoods! I definitely recommend this house and hope to return for another stay!

Wished we could stay longer

We totally enjoyed our stay. Cozy fire, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable twin/queen beds. All appliances work very well. Clear rules, full support of the owner. The house is good for a single couple or two couples. We enjoyed jacuzzi and great view of the ocean. The area is full of activities: multiple state parks, coastal trails, unique natural gems, great wineries of Anderson Valley, we even spent one day picking mushrooms in the woodlands and cooking mushroom soup after. We have only regret -we didn't have time to stay longer.

Amazing weekend getaway!

Checked in on a rainy Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend. Drove up Irish Beach and pulled up on this private driveway that led to a wooden walkway to the cottage. Right from the offset, I knew it was going to be an extremely pleasant experience! The house is cozy and has really thoughtful arrangements of things you would need to make your stay pleasurable. The hot tub is a huge bonus! You also get your own private beach access, which is a 6 min drive from the house. All in all, it turned out to be one of the best weekends of my life and I will be definitely coming back here again!
