Enter through a private entrance to this basement studio apartment. Newly constructed in 2018, the space is well lit, insulated, and in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoy a full bathroom with laundry, and a kitchenette: 4.5 cu.ft. refrigerator, microwave, extra large toaster oven, hot plate, crock pot, pots, pans, dishes, keurig coffee machine, and full kitchen sink. 1 queen bed accommodates up to two guests.

The space
Fully furnished and artfully designed to create a stress-free place to unwind. A plush queen mattress will help with a full night of rest.

Guest access
Full access to the entire private studio space.

Other things to note
Please park in the street as we use our garage and need access. TV is for streaming only bring your log in as we don’t have cable.

Overall: Cute and easy spot in a cute and quiet neighborhood. We would stay again. Pros: Nice simple space with everything you need. It is perfect for the price. Street parking is plentiful and the neighborhood felt very safe. Amenities were all good- nice bed, kitchen equipment, and bathroom. The basement was great for staying cool. Things to consider but aren't deal breakers: the stairs are very steep so not doable for those with mobility issues, and it IS a basement so remember you can hear the footsteps in the house above you as well as conversations/ singing/ anything above a whisper. Overall, great space!

Nice stay

This property was very nice. The neighborhood is really quiet. It felt very safe, as we did walk to the corner gas station a couple of times. Everything you need was there. Steve was a great host. He brought us an extra blanket as it was a tad bit cool in the space for us.

We recently stayed at this wonderful property and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The place was impeccably clean and had a lovely, serene atmosphere to it that made it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The amenities provided were excellent, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From a well-equipped kitchen to cozy bedding, it truly felt like a home away from home. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a short drive to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Everything we wanted to see was conveniently close, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We also want to extend a huge thank you to our host Steve for his excellent communication. He was responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth stay. His hospitality truly made a difference! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient spot in the Saint Paul area.

3 days in St Paul

We enjoyed staying in your home. The location was perfect for us and also very quiet. We think a night light for the bathroom would be helpful as it was very dark. You might consider letting renters know that the television is not hooked up to the major networks. I especially appreciated the cleanliness. We certainly would consider staying with you again.

Nice and easy

We had a great time! Bed was comfy, suite was private, quiet, and fully stocked with everything you’d need for a longer stay. Neighborhood was really cute, quiet, safe. Access was easy and came with two deadbolt-able doors with your own key. Will come stay again! :)

Quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay. My son attended hockey camp during the day and this was a quick and easy commute to the arena. I was able to work remotely and my son could get some rest after hockey camp. When our schedule changed, Steve provided understanding and flexibility. We will consider booking again if our travels bring us back to the area.

Cozy space, great location

I had a wonderful stay. The basement space was private, quiet and cozy. The space is nicely decorated and so clean. We appreciated having the amenities for cooking which saved us money on our apartment hunting trip. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you Steve and family!

Writing retreat

I live locally, but wanted a place to stay to escape the daily grind and just concentrate on my writing for a while. This property made for a perfect get-away: self-contained and comfortable, a place where I could both work and relax. The owner was communicative and friendly. I hope to return some time!

Hi, I'm Steve! I've been a host on another app since September 2021. I am joining VRBO for the first time in 2022 to reach more customers. I enjoy hosting and I live with my family upstairs (the studio is in the basement).
Our unit is clean, safe, and in a quiet neighborhood. We are an active family during the day and we are quiet by 9pm. The unit is well insulated so noise is minimal during the day.

Parking is a breeze: Free street parking and there is almost always a spot right in front. In the winter there may be snow restrictions, but that is very infrequent. In that case I will work with you to park in our driveway to avoid a tow.
Cleanliness: We are serious about cleaning. We thoroughly clean the entire unit in between guests.
On-site support: Your host is available to you quickly and easily and privacy is also respected.
Safety: Our neighborhood is safe with families up and down the block. We know our neighbors well and they are outstanding!
Convenience: Walk to 1 of 2 shopping center 2 blocks away. Amenities include a full grocery store, locally owned Chinese (2), Mexican, and pizza (take out only) restaurants, a gas station, liquor store, and more! We are about 12 minutes from the MSP International airport and 5 minutes to downtown St. Paul. Minneapolis is about 15 minutes away by car.

The neighborhood is fantastic! Trees line the streets and there are sidewalks for miles. We are in a first-ring suburb of St. Paul and folks here are friendly and kind.
