Welcome to our 3 bed/2 bath home at Desert Aire! Desert Aire is located along the Columbia River and has over 300 days of sunshine a year! You'll love the convenience of our community with small market, gas station, restaurant and coffee shop.
Our home is located just 3/4 mile to a beautiful 18-hole PGA rated golf course and Priest Rapids Recreation area & boat launch. Our community also features a large pool (open Memorial Day-Labor Day), pickleball, tennis and basketball courts. We are just 40 minutes to The Gorge Ampitheater for concerts.
We have an open floor plan with two bedrooms on one end, living room and kitchen/dining area in the center of the home and the primary suite on the other end of the home. There is a fully stocked kitchen, Smart TV, DVD player with a ton of movies, Xbox 360 (with some games) and card and board games. A full-size washer/dryer for your use too.
Outside, features a large patio with 2 BBQ's (Charcoal & Propane) dining table, seating area with propane fire table and a 4-person hot tub! If you plan a little work while you're there, we do have a small desk in the primary bedroom. Wifi is excellent too!

Beautiful home with ample space and very comfortable for two couples in town to see music at the Gorge (40 min. drive away). Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great communication from host. Wonderful VRBO experience.

Amazing Stay!

We loved everything about this house! Super comfy and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and even had the necessities needed for cooking. (spices, condiments etc). The pool was nice to have in the community, and the hot tub was an added treat! We cant wait to go back!!

Kristine was so helpful and communicative. The house was clean and cozy, and I felt comfortable letting my 15 month old wander and explore without any hazards inside. We definitely would stay here again. Thank you for everything! Sorry we left a couple things behind lol.

We are 2nd generation owners in Desert Aire. We love spending our time in Desert Aire and wanted to share our home with you. There are over 300 days of sunshine here!

Why they chose this property

We have been going to Desert Aire since the late 1980's with Kristine's family. This is the 2nd property her family has owned. We love the proximity to the water and the golf course. The community park and pool are awesome too! We love the conveniences of the small store, restaurants and gas station and the town of Mattawa just minutes away.
The fact that we can get here in just a couple of hours from home and just play and unwind is a bonus!

What makes this property unique

We are in a cul-de-sac with views of the hillside across the river. Walking distance to the river, golf and park.
