This is a lovely place to stay in Ketchikan. We loved how close to stores and attractions the home is, yet feels secluded, surrounded by the beauty of Alaska. The home was very clean and accommodating. The hosts are very responsive and helpful! We'd definitely stay again!
Would absolutely stay here again! Location is convenient, easy walk downtown to eat, shop and meet excursions. Hosts provide lots of things incase you forget something, toothpaste, hairdryer, binoculars etc. We really enjoyed the nice deck with a view, saw lots of eagles. The house is very cozy and clean. Hosts even reached out making sure we didn't need anything. We had an amazing stay!!
The place was exactly as described. It was very cute and clean. Loved watching the seaplanes and cruises from the porch. It was walking distance to most everything. The only tricky part is the up hill climb to come home. Check in and out was a breeze and the host was very friendly.
Beautiful view from this very nice place. We were able to watch an eagle who was perched right outside of the window. The home was beautifully updated with nice furniture and wonderful blackout curtains.
Such a fabulous place. I had a little trouble when checking in. There were so many cruise ships in town, the cell service didn't work, and I couldn't access the check in information on my email. The host came outside and immediately gave me the code to open the front door. The apartment is beautifully furnished and supremely located in proximity to downtown. I can't wait to go back to Ketchikan and stay ar the Bear Den. Thanks so much!
Perfect place to stay for you and your family! The hosts were very kind and family oriented, you feel safe in the neighborhood, and the views are unmatched! We would stay here again if we ever make the trip again!
Great one bedroom unit. My wife and I enjoyed staying here during our 3 nights in Ketchikan. Wonderful view, comfortable, bed, couch and chair and the kitchen was perfect for prepping some breakfast and simple meals. We were on the go alot seeing all the sites and this was a great central spot to relax and sleep between adventures.Loved all the local photos on the walls. Everything we needed and many local touches that made it a great place to stay.We had such a wonderfull stay and need to give a shout out to the crew at Ward's Cove, we loved our expeditions with them. Amanda and Ben were awesome!
Loved it!! Great ambience; great views; had everything we needed and more; quiet; overall ---- GREAT!We and other members of our family will definitely be coming back as we take turns visiting our son based at the Coast Guard station there. Thank you.
This place was ideal for us, and met all our needs. Close to everything, a lovely view of trees and the waterfront, and the hosts were very accommodating. Highly recommend this place and Ketchikan.
The location is just stunning. The views are amazing and it's so close to town you can walk. The furnishing are well thought out and really make this place feel like home.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It has all needed amenities including laundry which we did use one day after one of our excursions. If we come back to Ketchikan we would stay here again.
Wonderful property and it was in the perfect location for us. Nice views from our windows, comfortable, and just all around lovely place. We could easily walk to the historic downtown. We also had rented a car which was nice to have to drive north and south to various hiking locations and sights. We would definitely recommend staying at this VRBO.
