Lakefront home on Middle Jefferson! Only one hour away from the Twin Cities!

Only 1 hour from the Twin Cities and 20 minutes from Mankato, our year-round home is the perfect lakefront getaway! Enjoy our kayak and 2 paddle boards or put your own boat in to explore all that Lake Jefferson has to offer! In the summer, enjoy the lake views from the patio furniture on our newly renovated deck. There's a table to enjoy a meal, sun loungers to soak in the rays, or a comfortable sectional to relax in the shade. There is a fire pit by the Lake to enjoy on calm nights. For Boaters - We're located on Middle Jefferson. The public launch is located on East Jefferson (5 miles from our home), and there is a channel between East Jefferson and Middle Jefferson that can be accessed via boat. We can provide more in-depth directions and a map if requested. Although West Jefferson Lake is not accessible via boat from Middle Jefferson, the public launch is located less than 1 mile from our home. The Jefferson chain of lake is very popular for recreational activities such as ice fishing (winter), swimming, fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, etc.

Please note that our watercraft is not included with your stay, and please bring your own life jackets if needed.

Water toys are made available for the season when Minnesota weather permits - typically, May through September.

Our home is also close to several popular wedding venues in the area -
Chankaska Creek Ranch, Winery and Distillery: 12 minutes, 9.3 miles
Ahavah Cottage: 14 minutes, 11.2 miles
Olive Branch Farm: 14 minutes, 10.8 miles

Great small lake house for a weekend getaway

Relaxing stay by the water

We had the best time. The house was very clean and everything you need. So peaceful on the deck listening to the water. The area is beautiful and very easy to get around and explore. Thank you again it was definitely a 5 star!!

Maddie was extremely welcoming and attentive. She answered all my questions promptly. We were in the area to ice fish and this two bedroom house was perfect for our group. The house looks to be recently updated and was spacious enough for our group of 4. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The views over the lake were beautiful. This was a gem to find. I highly recommend.

Lovely house on the lake

We had so much fun visiting Minnesota right on the lake, especially with all the water toys -- paddle board, pedal boat, lily pad, and kayak! House was lovely and cuter than in the photos.

Lake like glass

The house was everything we hoped for. Very clean and inviting. As you walked in you immediately felt as if you were home. There is great water access for kayaking. The deck is wonderful and a great place to enjoy the sun. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this property.

The rental was very clean and comfortable, and it was just as it looked in the vrbo pictures. Enjoyed the mornings sitting on the deck with coffee and watching, listening to the birds. The only thing I would have changed would be the weather. It was very hot and humid and rainy. Would like to try to go in the fall when we could have the windows open.

sooooo much FUN!!

Just what we were looking for….a quiet, peaceful place by the lake for a weekend get-a-way! My family made many memories together as we enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and water toys! We also played many rounds of corn hole…..and loved sitting around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and s’mores! Hiked at nearby Minneopa State Park where there is beautiful waterfalls, trails…and a bison herd to experience!

Everything as advertised. Beds quite comfortable and nice smart TV to watch football game. Plenty of linens. We didn’t really cook but kitchen well stocked if you wanted to. Really great campfire ring by the lake and able to have nice fire and make smores with grandkids. Used deck several times and enjoy the view.
