To be clear, this building does NOT have air conditioning (almost NO buildings-less than 5%- in Seattle have central air conditioning). Also, be aware that this is a urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit in the heart of Seattle--walkable to all the best Seattle has to offer-- and has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty construction. About Darik Eaton

My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.

Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the heart of Downtown Seattle that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.

Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.

We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!

Cozy pad near all attractions

This pad was super convenient and in the middle of all of the action. Easy walks to the Space Needle and museums, as well as Pikes Market. Convenient parking too, although we could have skipped renting a car.

The owner provided us with an air conditioner which was awesome and well needed considering the city was in the middle of a heat wave. It really helped out a ton.

Only downsides to this apartment complex is what others have mentioned, with the bus stop being outside and plenty of homeless and pot smokers around. This isn't a terrible thing, but it kept us from opening the windows as much as we would have. Otherwise, we felt safe with our two kids walking around and even donated some leftovers to those in need after dinners.

Big thanks to the owner for having a great property and for the many communications about our stay.

Needs a good clean and an update

This apartment is in a great neighborhood and is close to attractions and fun restaurants. Unfortunately it is quite run down and not as clean as it could be. For almost $400 per night, we expected much more. The whole place needs a deep clean - especially the floors. Luckily each room had electric fans (we arrived in a heat wave) but they were dusty and not of good quality. The shower was moldy, the bath needed scrubbing and we were left with an empty container of body wash. The bathroom door is a "slider" that provides sub-optimal privacy (mentioned by previous reviewers.) The kitchen garbage can was filthy. The furnishings are run down and the curtains had missing hooks so didn't hang properly. Overall, we were very disappointed and would not stay here again. We moved to a different property afterwards which provided a much cleaner, more enjoyable experience for a comparable price.

Clean and comfortable

Nice little condo that was perfect for our needs. The beds were super comfy. Had a bit of confusion getting in due to an error in the information. Darik's welcome was a nice touch. There's a great store by the entrance that provided us everything we needed whether morning coffee, snacks or wine at night.

Great time in Belltown

The condo building looks modern, the units themselves are bright & clean. Located near many restaurants, pubs & just a short walk to the Space Needle or Pike Place Market. The complex offers a rooftop deck which is spectacular on a sunny day to just hang out with friends. The beds/pillows were comfy, great water pressure in the shower & the units were well appointed. We look forward to our future stay in Belltown @ this condo.

Great location, perfect size for a family of four.

Easy to find, but parking was not explained clearly ahead of time. There is a bus stop directly in front of the building, which complicated things the first time we pulled up after a 5 hour drive with all of our bags, in the dark, in the rain and had no idea where to park. STRESS. Once we were in the condo, we found instructions for parking in the basement garage- which was oh-so convenient in the end. The building is nice, the condo is modern and cute- tiny but perfect size for our family of four for just a couple of days. Surface clean, but has not been deep cleaned/maintained in a very long time- don't look too close and you will be much happier. Most desperate attention needed: floors need to be re-done and some furniture needs to be cleaned. Yuck. Due to small size of condo, one of the bedrooms and the bathroom have sliding pocket doors that do not afford a lock or any real privacy. The door on the bathroom easily comes off the track and there are large gaps which allow seeing in and out much too easily for anyone wishing to be modest (13-year-old girl). The bathroom is off the kitchen, so if you are cooking, you can see whoever is in the bathroom doing their business. The kitchen was stocked very well- we managed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner with no problems! Lots of fresh towels and linens and the beds were super comfy. Cable TV was a bonus for us. Best of all, it's located between downtown and the Space Needle- within walking distance of both- and there is a neighborhood grocery across the street. We will be back.
