AMAZING SERENITY SERENE QUIET CABIN IN THE WOODS Just as the name sounds come stay in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains and enjoy a serene quiet visit. This newly built 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin will sleep up to 6 quests with 1 King Bed in the Master Bedroom, 2 Queen Beds. Your family will enjoy the 32”LCD TV's placed on each level of the cabin. For you children's entertainment, in the lower bedroom, there is a 13” TV with a play station 2, a few games are there for their use during your stay. The family room has a Pool Table, Card Table, Air Hockey Table, and Wet Bar area with a 32” LCD TV with built in DVD player. From the family room there is access to the outside patio where you can relax in the 4-person Hot Tub. The master bedroom and bath have cathedral ceilings which provide a very open environment and also has access to the screened coffee porch. This cabin is loaded with amenities, great quiet time reading area in the loft, board games also provided. You can grill your favorite Steak or Hamburger on the propane grill provided. You will never want to leave once you enter the doors of Serenity Woods. Book your stay today.

wonderful stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very clean when we arrived. wonderful wooded area. not too far from town if you wanted to leave the house that is!

Great facility. Very clean and nice. Well decorated. Only negatives: Towels were small and of poor quality - bring your own! There is a small outdoor fire ring that someone threw together, but it's on a slope and hard to sit around - this would be a great upgrade for the owners to consider.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway

This is a very satisfactory rental home. It was clean, which is rare these days. It was equipped as advertised, and everything worked. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and well lit. The bathrooms are beautifully clean and very well lit. The master bath especially has beautiful natural light through a large fixed window. The gas fire places work perfectly, but make sure to learn how to light them! McCarysville is 10 minutes away and Kenny's Pizza is surprisingly good. The rural mountainous ambiance is very relaxing and pleasing to the senses. Check this place out!

My trip

The cabin was beautiful but it was not the cleanest cabin. It had not been dusted in a long while. The view was another cabin instead of beautiful mountains. The grill grate was completely gone so grilling was challenging. The outside fireplace was a joke. It was totally not a functional fireplace that you could relax with. The hot tub was small. It said 4 person tub but more like a 2 person if you want leg room. On a positive note: the TV’s were great! The downstairs play area was great! We enjoyed quality time downstairs with gas fireplace and games and hot tub! We had a great time even with the issues that we had.

Great location

Very close to restaurants and outdoor activities. The cabin was lovely and the furniture was very comfortable and relaxing. We are planning a return visit with our whole family. The three levels will provide privacy for 3 families and also common room to gather and socialize.

Beautiful

It was a beautiful property. The images online did no justice. There were just a few snags. But I would come again. It was 6 adults. I stayed down in the game room area and the bedroom door doesn’t close all the way. It appears to be off track. This small issue that it became was because when folks were downstairs playing pool I couldn’t close my door. The main level bathroom wasn’t cleaned. But it was the only one. But overall this cabin was beautiful. The management was easy to work with. I really have no real complaints.

Nice cabin, little attention to details.

This cabin was in a nice, quiet location. It was initially quite difficult to find (we arrived after dark) and I would recommend getting there during daylight hours. The cabin was not clean. The stove was grease smeared with a great deal of burned on food despite the displayed sign on how to clean it. It would had to have been cleaned before use. The oven was filled with spills that I’m sure would have smoked up the entire cabin had I used it. The microwave was also grease smeared was the oven door. Cabinets were grease splattered and the salt and pepper shakers were, well let’s just say it had been a long time since they were cleaned. The bathrooms, all 3, were just as bad. All of the toilets had black mold/mildew growing in them. The shower heads had black mold/mildew growth as well. The shower head in the master bath was so black we chose to use the shower on the main floor (the lesser of two evils). The bathroom mirrors had soap splatters and the counters appeared to have been wiped with the same greasy rag used in the kitchen. There was thick dust in places like the tops of the tv and living room floor lamp. Every clock in the place was set to a different time. The towels were really more like rags. And, “the owners towels are not for use in the hot tub” is absolutely absurd for a rental property. There were partially burned logs and ashes left in the outdoor fire place. Screens were torn and cobwebs were everywhere. We have rented cabins in the past and they were immaculate. There is no excuse for what we found here. There is no way I would have used any of the dishes/pots or pans after what I saw. Homemade laundry detergent? Really? Again, made me question the cleanliness of the linens as well. As you can see, we were happy with the location and size of the cabin but, will never return due to the grotesque lack of attention to detail regarding cleanliness. If you are going to post signs all over the cabin regarding your expectations of guests you should make sure your property manager is practicing what you preach.

We have used two other rental agencies in the past but neither compare to the excellent service we receive from Nevaeh. We'll be back next year.
