Raised waterfront property for some great fishing and entertaining

Welcome to "The Cajun Hideaway.." Located at 4954 Kaylee Lane Barataria La 70036. The property has been recently renovated.. This beautiful raised property is perfect for large groups or families looking to enjoy Louisianna fishing at its best. The local charters can come pick you up from dock at the back of the property. Local air boat tours are available as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances needed for those wonderful family meals.. If outdoor cooking is your style, take advantage of the outdoor propane grill. There is a community freezer and ice machine down stairs for the catch of the day. If you like blue crab we have 2 traps you can throw in the water to enjoy. It also has electrical hookups for charging the boats as well. It is three blocks from Joe's Landing which is a boat launch and bait and tackle shop. It has a spacious area for cooking and entertaining. If you need your clothes washed no problem. There is a brand new washer and dryer on site. We have two 65 inch tvs and three 50 inch tvs incase you have a ball game or a show that you just can't miss. We have loved taking our kids here for some laidback fun! It is a short drive to local grocery and not far to Jefferson Parish for some great restaurants. It is located 45 minutes from New Orlean's night life and fantastic food! Book now you won't regret the fun, food and adventures!

Property was clean, well maintained and perfect for our family. Plenty of room for our boat and you can launch just a few blocks away. We also booked a fishing charter with Big Dogs Fishing Charters that I would highly recommend. All in all, it is a great place to relax and enjoy some time in the bayou.i

Yearly Fishing Trip

Ice machine and deeper was a killer combination. Made cleaning and storing our fish a breeze. The second deck ceiling fan and TV made dinners and hanging out very comfortable. The whole stay was amazing.

Wonderful home for a group

Beautiful home right on a canal, your fishing guide can pick you up at your own dock. Everything you need for a great stay and the owners are so thoughtful and want your stay to be perfect. We would definitely rent this home again. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and everyone loved the house which is filled with amenities.
