Welcome to Bluebird Retreat. A cozy cabin in the heart of the Black Hills just out of Hill City. Located in the popular High Country Ranch. Enjoy the Mickelson Trail right out your front door. Main attractions close by including Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and views. Enjoy sitting by the bonfire watching wildlife in the evenings.

It met our needs. Nice central location- good distance from Hill City. It was well furnished.Our only suggestion would be to have some type of covering over the large kitchen window and a light fixture over the shower.We enjoyed our stay!

Our cabin was perfect for us 4 travelers; 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog. The property was clean and well kept inside and out. The kitchen was stocked with just enough of what we may have forgotten from home. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated having a grill on the deck. The horses that passed by the side of the cabin intermittently were a beautiful sight. My only suggestions would have been to have a more maintained/cleaned out fire pit and we had to be cautious watching our dog at the front door secondary to a difficult latch.

Great location! Great stay!

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at Bluebird Retreat and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, well stocked and just a short drive into Hill City. Its location makes it convenient for getting to many of the local attractions. The property manager is so responsive and timely in our communication with her. Thank you Michelle.
