Come stay in our newly decorated, two bedroom condo located in the Liftside Condominium complex. Ground level with easy access to underground, heated parking. All safe and secure. Enter and exit from your own private deck, no need to go through the building. This condo has no units above or on either side, truly like a private home. Bring your laptop - FREE Wireless Internet.

A high vaulted ceiling with an open floor plan makes this condo remarkable. No one is left out of the action with the open kitchen arrangement and great room. Over 1150 square feet of living space. View the mountains while preparing dinner in the full kitchen. The fully stocked, large, wood-burning fireplace takes the chill off those cool summer nights. Relax by the fireplace with your favorite beverage!

Located just outside the ground level door are the enclosed swimming pool and hot tub. Relax after a day of hiking or biking, in the heated hot tub or do some laps in the pool.

Located in the Mountain House area of Keystone, you have easy access to shopping, dining, nightlife just steps from your unit. A five-minute walk to the River Run area for even more action. New restaurants and nightclubs in the River Run area along with child care. Or walk to Keystone Lodge for shopping, dining, or paddleboats on the Keystone pond.

Don't forget the FREE Summit County shuttle service. Park your car and ride the shuttle to River Run, Keystone Lodge, shopping at the City Market Grocery Store, Gart Brothers, Silverthorne Factory Outlets, or to Breckenridge!

This complex is a short 150 yard, five minute walk to both lifts in the Mountain House area of Keystone. Please note that snow conditions dictate which lifts and runs are open.

About The Owner

Thanks for visiting our web site. My wife Julie and I reside at Lake Winnebago, MO, just south of Kansas City. We have one son and a dog. We own our own manufacturing business in Lee's Summit, Mo. I grew up in Lee's Summit and my wife was born in Vermillion, KS, but moved often as her dad worked for the railroads.

Our son works for Expedia as a programmer. Now he gets paid for what he previously was in trouble for at home when growing up!

The Owner purchased this condo in 2002

Why The Owner chose Northwest

Our family started skiing again in 1988. We finally decided to purchase a condo in Keystone since we skied often. We found this 2-bedroom unit at Liftside Condominiums after a long search. We liked the convenient location, the ground level entrance and easy access plus the high ceilings, which contribute to the openness of this condo. So many units we had looked at gave the feeling of being closed in.

What makes this condo unique

This unit is located directly inside the parking garage so there are no stairs to climb or elevators to wait for. This unit is very quiet being there are no units located above or on either side of our condo unit. Also the easy access to outside. Being a ground floor unit, you do not have to go through the building to go outside. The unit has two entrances. One by the parking garage and the other off the ground level deck.

Very spacious for two bedrooms. We stayed for two weeks with 4 young kids and had plenty of room.

Perfect for our mix of family

My family of 4 headed to Keystone with my father-in-law. We have stayed in Liftside before and it is a very convenient building and this unit in particular. It was nice to stay on the ground floor and avoid the crazy staircases. We gave my father-in-law the master suite and stayed in the bunk room. It was nice to be separated from him by the common area. He is a big TV watcher, although we are not, and was disappointed in the TV in master bedroom and common area. The pool was cold due to a boiler issue, but the hot tub was great and just across from the room. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends as well. We picked up our key the first day in Frisco and skied Breckenridge that day, but it would be nice to avoid that trip if you can. Gary was very responsive to all questions. My only recommendation is to have the porch shoveled off by the cleaning crew. It was a bit icy in spots when we arrived.

Great skiing, close to lifts, communicative owner...

This property was exactly as depicted and perfect for us. It is close to the slopes, has an indoor pool and hot tub, plenty of parking (inside and out), and a wonderful deck (with heated mats). That being said my advice to the owner is as follows to take this place from a "B" rating to "A" rating.

- The value of this property is the indoor pool and hot tub. That being said, the pool was cold and the hot tub had a make-shift new coating over older tiles. Get together with the HOA, bump up the price 100$ per month, per unit and renovate the pool and hot tub building. This is the "gem" of the property and it needs a little help. 40(ish) units x 100 x 12 = 48k and it would go a LONG way to keeping this property unique and drive property value.

- Inside the condo, head up to Lowes or Home Depot and replace every single bulb with LED's. Lighting is everything to make a place comfortable, and while it might cost $250-500 for LEDs it would make the place great. CFL bulbs in the mountains take forever to light up and offer poor light.

- This place has a lot of thermostats. If you linked them with a central control it sure would make the place great!

- The bathrooms where a little cold, 2500 bucks would go a long way in the bathroom with fixing the ceiling heater and heated floors. Perhaps updating the shower head.

- Frying pans, head over to the LeCruiset outlet and get some of their non-stick, NON-teflon pans. They last for ever and avoid the peeling of teflon on the current pans.

- Replace the plugs. The plugs and light switches are getting old. New face plates and plugs could be replaced at an economical price.

- Picking up the keys in Frisco was way out of the way from Denver.

- Snow and ice build up on the roof to the unit was dangerous on the porch. The HOA should install ICE dam protection on these roofs and not allow 30ft of ice slab fall on to the owners deck.

- I would install a nice 60 inch TV above the fireplace and hide the wires in the wall.

These simple improvements would most likely also yield a higher rental rate and occupancy. Again, owenr and unit was GREAT, just ideas how to "build a better business" here.

Very cozy and convenient place!

When arriving, the condo looked much more spacious than in pictures. Fit me and my friends comfortably. Probably the most convenient place I've stayed at in any of my snowboarding trips. Gary was very helpful and responded freaky fast with any concerns I had. Book with confidence if your looking!
