Esta es la mejor casa enorme se encuentra en Salt Lake City. Situado en la desembocadura del pequeño cañón de álamo, a sólo 15 minutos a partir de 4 estaciones de esquí diferentes. Podrá disfrutar de las hermosas montañas con vistas panorámicas del valle. Esta casa de 4200 pies cuadrados fue reacabado recientemente a los estándares más altos personalizados. Disfrutar de los suelos de pizarra, techos altos, carpintería increíble y una chimenea, en ambos niveles. La cocina es grande y espacioso para muchas personas para disfrutar, con una gran mesa de piedra con capacidad para 10 y hay asientos barra adicional. La habitación de arriba es un área enorme con un piano magnífico Grand, chimenea, 2 habitaciones familiares y comedor cocina. Para bajar las escaleras usted y su grupo podrá disfrutar de la gran pantalla de televisión con 3 sofás de tamaño completo y un sobre silla de peluche. Great size and comfotable

This property worked perfect for our family. We had a group of 14 that were in town for a family renuion in June. This house was spacious for our large group and never felt crowded. The 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for this size group. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were roomy. The kitchen and great room were large and held all of us when we were sitting around visitng. The A/C was so powerful thankfully because there was some high temps outside while we were there and the house felt great, we also never ran out of hot water for this size of group. I am not someone who expects the house to be perfect in everyway, so yes a few minor issues but nothng that effected our comfort. If you are looking for a house with a yard to spend time in this one is not for you. The yard is overgrown and the grass is dead. Our group did not care about a yard so not a problem for us. the kitchen had good pots, pans and dishes too. Extra towels and blankets available. I texted the host at one point and she responded within a couple hours I would 100% stay here again. Good expierence.

not worth the money

- 1 bed was broken and not usable -dishes were dirty -no towels to be found anywhere -shower knob falling apart -internet didn’t work so no tv - light fixtures falling apart -no instructions on fireplace so couldn’t get that to work -heater either made half the house too hot or too cold - tile has uneven dangerous lips in kitchen and hallway entry and several people fell hard. would not recommend this place.

Disappointing Experience

Despite the good location and plentiful bedrooms, the house did not live up to expectations. There were used bars of soap in the showers, no fresh soap for guests, the hot tub was disgusting, and there were no trash bags. Perhaps we caught the house on a bad weekend, but these were small things that were easily correctable if the property manager cared. Instead, she made excuses and tried to blame her guests.

Terrific value excellent location

Our ski club of 12 people had plenty of room in this house and we would gladly stay here again. The hot tub did have some issues, but it got fixed promptly.

House would have been perfect if we could have had quicker help.

There are five bedrooms on the bottom floor and only one bathroom. one of the bathrooms on the upper main floor had a nonfunctional toilet. I initially had difficulty reaching someone. When I did they did not come and fix the issues until the night before we left. Everything else was great. Excellent locationl Loved the hot tub and pool table. and space.

Great location, lots of space, very clean

We had a great stay! The location is perfect on a quiet side street just off Wasatch Blvd. This home had plenty of comfortable space for our large group to spread out and plenty of beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. Check in instructions were simple and check out requirements were no hassle. We had one contact with the property manager, and she answered immediately and resolved our question over the phone. Highly recommend this property for a large group of skiers. Thanks for a great weekend!

Spacious home close to all mountains

We enjoyed our time at this home. A couple issues did come up but the landlord was quick to address them. Pleasant experience and you cannot get much closer to the mountain access roads.

Filthy and cluttered!

This property was a sad disappointment. We rented the house for a family ski vacation with 6 adults and 3 children and were appalled upon check-in at the amount of dust covering furniture, walls and interior decor, to the extent that we had to stop by a store at 11pm on our first night to buy a dusting wand and do our own cleaning. Each day we found new hazards, including a broken billiard pocket, which we discovered when the kids were playing and a ball dropped on a child's foot, sticky dust on the coffee pot, what appeared to be a bullet hole in the front window, wood rot next to the hot tub, clutter in interior corners as well as so much junk in the garage we couldn't park our second vehicle. The most appalling find by far, however, was the black mold and MUSHROOMS growing on the walls and in the carpet of a basement closet. This was not only gross but a potential toxin. We made multiple attempts to negotiate with the owner for a small discount/refund on our rental given the amount of work we did during our stay to dust furniture and walls, clean the kitchen and keep the children away from hazardous clutter. Unfortunately the owner, in the end, was unresponsive to our communication. If the property had some basic cleaning and maintenance it would be a great getaway, close to skiing and lots of space for friends and family to gather and have fun. Sadly though it has been neglected.

Great location for large ski group

Right between the bases of Cottonwood Canyons - so perfect location to visit Snowbird/Alta/Brighton/Solitude. Layout is a bit strange, with most of the bedrooms downstairs, but 3 of 4 bathrooms upstairs. Lots of queen beds if you have multiple couples. 4 stars due to the bathroom arrangement and the downstairs could use a good cleaning. Not unlivable, but definitely not "sparkling clean".

A great location for relaxation and skiing trip with a few drawbacks.

The house is in a great location for relaxation and skiing trip. It's very close to the cottonwood canyons, so it saved us a lot of driving, especially in a powder day. The rooms are plenty, more than we can fill. Also there's plenty of common spaces to have multiple parties to chat, play and entertain. The piano has great sound, 3 of our children practiced their recitals on it. However there're still a lot to improve. There's only one Nest to control heating up and downstairs. People sleep in one room downstairs were complaining it's too hot despite blocking the vent. Sound insulation is poor that I can hear people coughing in the basement from above. Also the smell from the kitchen somehow can penetrate to the master bedroom. All in all, it's a good value for the price we paid, we had great time in it.

Great spot at the mouth of little Cottonwood Canyon!

This place is perfect for those wanting to explore the Cottonwood Canyons in either Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall. The gameroom downstairs is awesome with a pool table, foosball table and lots of board games. The large dining room table is great for large groups. We will definitely be renting again for our next ski trip.

House on the Hill by The Buck Family

The house was warm and cozy. The downstairs offered fun, entertainment and rest. The upstairs was well insulated from the noise downstairs. The beds were so comfortable. It was like a home away from home. We would recommend this home and ask for it again if we return to Salt Lake City as a family. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to eat at 'home'. For us were in the City for a sick, sick daughter and this place was a refuge for us. Thank You!!!!

This home is in need of much updating. Most bedrooms are downstairs with one bathroom which has plumbing issues (tub doesn't drain easily). Downstairs is quite dark and musty. Plastic plants and missing vent screens add to that. Two bedrooms and three bathrooms are upstairs. At least one bathroom (across from bunk bed room which is ill ventilated with camp-style mattresses that are not suitable for adults) has drainage issue. This home needs a handyman to make repairs and a thorough cleaning. Our group was attending a convention in SLC and this location was pretty great. Takes about 20 minutes to get to parking lot next to the convention center.
