Clean and quaint. Perfect for a Cooperstown week or regular get away. The owners left extra touches of snacks and a welcome note. They had some of the helpful amenities of home, baggies, foil, clorox wipes, tissues! And they graciously let you ise their dock, kayaks and paddle boards. AC was adequate and helpful as well! Nice porch to hangout on as well! H8ghly recommend

Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the little touches—we love making it feel like a home away from home. It’s great to hear the porch, amenities, and lake extras made your visit even more enjoyable. We’d be happy to host you again anytime!
We were in New York for the opera at Glimmerglass. This place was right down the road and also convenient to Cooperstown. The view of the lake was beautiful. The accommodations, just what we needed. Thank you!
Overall, the house was pretty much as listed. The few things I would comment are the water (not potable), the dock was listed as being usable but there were 3 boats attached and you could not swim or fish from the dock as listed. The last thing was that a washer and dryer were pictured but not hooked up and could not be used. We needed to take our clothing to a laundromat in Cooperstown because we packed anticipating having a washer and dryer on site based off the pictures. We enjoyed our stay overall.
This place was great for what we needed, and only 20-30 minutes from Dreams Park where baseball tournament took place. The only negative comments I have is that this place needed some cleaning. The floor of the bedroom with the two twin beds was not fully cleaned, it had lots of dust at the corners of the floor. Seems like it just was not thoroughly cleaned. The furniture surface was very cleaned though. The other area that I could not enjoy much was the side outdoor deck. I came out one nice cool evening to enjoy the lake view and just be outside, but I did not feel confortable with how dirty it was all around, full of cobwebs/spiderwebs, and just dirty overall. It's too bad because it's a very nice place to be out and enjoying the outdoors with its beautiful view. Also, the couch in the livingroom is dirty, needs to have the cushion covers washed, and bottom of the cushions cleaned. Very unpleasant to sleep on the couch eventhough we put a bed sheet cover. Aside from these negative items, the place overall is beautiful, and the lake view from the back indoor deck is stunning.
