Outstanding residence. Everything was clean and new. Very comfortable and homey. The property was private and quiet. I would definitely recommend this property. My only recommendation to the owners is to install screens on all the windows upstairs. It was a little warm on our visit and there is no A/C on the second floor. We opened up all the windows and it cooled off nicely but also allowed in a few insects.

Great family location

We celebrated Christmas with our family of 7. There was plenty of space, nice set up of common spaces and sleeping space. Bathrooms were clean, nice showers.

Our family loved this property. It was so neat, clean and spacious!! I loved the outside of the property. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and enjoyed the fire pit! If we return to this area I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Woodsy Hideaway

This place is simply gorgeous. It has everything you need for a much larger group than just 2 folks and their dog, and the price was great too. Close enough to Corning, Watkins Glen, and Lake Seneca to be the perfect place to base camp for your Southern Tier/Finger Lakes adventures. Our dog loved it too!

Hideaway in the Hills

Comfortable clean and quiet modern home with all of the amenities needed for our stay. Built in a wooded area on a hill we enjoyed all of the wildlife, crisp breezes and fall foliage. The bedding was wonderful. The only thing that wasn’t wonderful was a lack of water pressure in the master bath due to the location; other bathrooms’ water pressure was fine.

3 Night Getaway

This house fit our sister getaway perfectly. For us the property was centrally located in the outskirts near the Corning Museum and then a visit to the wineries. Loved the quiet neighborhood, large wooded lot, with deer and even a fox passing through. The house was recently renovated, very clean and has spacious living areas and baths. I will definitely consider this property the next time I visit.

Our stay was August 7 - August 11When we arrived for our 4pm check-in the cleaner was still there and asked us to give her another 20 minutes. The bathrooms were not overly clean, especially the showers. Toilet in up stairs bathroom leaks and the downstairs toilet won’t flush. We shared the kitchen with mice, having to clean up there poop all over the counter every morning.That being said we did enjoy our stay, the wild life, and the location. Very peaceful. The beds were comfortable.

Nice renovated modern country house

All around great place to stay.great kitchen and appliances,2 livingrooms, 3 full bathrooms, big tv with cable and internet. Pics are accurate on website. A few suggestions: 1 a newer sofa in tv room ..something not so deep, 2 anti slip decals for shower floors and 3 replace garage door opener. Property manager Cody was great, quick to respond to questions and concerns. We highly recommend this property.

Nice Property

This rental is as advertised, very clean, great location. One suggestion is to pack down the gravel in the driveway. The rental is located on an elevated lot and the driveway to the house has very loose gravel to get up and my rental car did a little spinning due to the loose gravel. No other issues! We had a great time.

Well maintained and looked after. The grounds are lovely . We had a doe mad her fawn come visit us one evening which was very nice. The inside of the house again well maintained and clean. Everything worked. We had no trouble in locating the house. Short drives into Corning and Horseheads, Big Flats got us to grocery stores and restaurants. My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Thanks for providing such a lovely spot.

2nd stay as good as the first!

The host and property were exactly as described. Other than noting the coffee pot was missed by the cleaning crew (grinds had molded over... yuck.. with its pot about a third full of old coffee) and, also noting the bathroom had no amenities (no soap or shampoo), these were very minor issues. The house was otherwise extremely clean, with fresh linens and towels. Kitchen utensils were as described, gas grill outside was clean. It was just a very enjoyable place to return to after a day of doing "stuff". I look forward to an opportunity to return in the future!

The modern furnishings and tasteful decor created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. It felt like a home away from home. Responsive Host: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Having a responsive host is always a plus, and in this case, it truly enhanced my experience. Any questions or requests I had were promptly addressed, making me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. Prime Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the standout features of this VRBO is its location. It's just a short walk or drive away from a plethora of amazing restaurants. I enjoyed exploring the local culinary scene, and having such easy access to dining options was a definite bonus.
