Our stay was great! It was very cozy and we felt right at home. VRBO failed to provide us with check-in information. Christy was SO helpful, even while working. She was THE BEST!!!

We had a lovely, comfortable stay on our sleep stopover on a long road trip. I appreciated the Christmas decorations, as it’s my favorite time of year, as well as the flavored coffee creamer! The property is immaculately clean and has all the comforts of home.

Great location Near Appalachian Bible College and the Beckley convention center

Stayed over here For high school basketball tournament and it was perfectly located in a nice neighborhood and close to the convention center and outlet malls and restaurants. Host was very accommodating and helpful Thank You.

Beckley Trip

The house was clean and well taken care of. The host was super easy to get in touch with and checked in a few times during our 9 day stay to make sure everything was in order. Also, the house was in a very convenient location to easily get to everything we wanted to do.

Home base getaway.

House was perfect for my husband and I. We used the house as a home base and rode motorcycles every day in the mountains. Be prepared that everything in WV is on a hill if you plan to ride. Experienced riders recommended, lots of traffic and trucks but beautiful scenery.

Beautifully located

Amazing stay with Chrissy at this property, while the house is older it has been renovated with an adorable decor including an eclectic array of light switches. The house was incredibly clean including the washing machine and lint from the dryer removed. We had a gorgeous stay my children 4&6 loved catching fireflies in the evening across the back lawn and though the weekend was 90 every day the house was pleasantly cool even on the days we forgot to put the air conditioner on. I highly recommend staying for families. It's located halfway-ish between the canyon rim and stand stone visitor centers. Lastly in Fayetteville we discovered an amazing public splash pad which made a great end to a great weekend.

Loved the convenience to New River Gorge and delightfully decorated. Well groomed, spaced houses in neighborhood and felt safe. Ample sized kitchen and bedrooms. Entire house smelled wonderful upon entrance. Comfortable furniture, especially bed mattresses. Air conditioning units in bedroom worked exceptionally well as 2 of 3 rooms were nice and crisp. One bedroom did not have AC which was fine as the other person in my party prefers no AC. The main level outside the bedrooms were much warmer than the bedrooms as expected without central air, but tolerable. Use of washer and dryer greatly appreciated. Well stocked ice cube trays came in handy prior to intense hikes planned. Highly recommend and would stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to such an underrated gem of a state.I would suggest option to use portable AC units in the kitchen and main living room area as they were a bit too warm. In addition, the bedrooms could have been at least 10 degrees warmer as the AC was a bit too cold for our ideal room temp-appreciated the ability to adjust individually. Only other suggestion is to add a a toilet roll holder as the toilet paper roll did not have a home. Not a big deal at all but lotion was left near bathroom sink and hand soap was underneath inside the cabinet. Loved the variety of body washes, shampoos, and conditioners in shower. May want to alert future guests to exercise extra caution backing out of driveway into narrow road out of neighborhood. Thank you!!
