We have two units located on the Main Floor of The Gardens that are available for short or longer term rentals. The Gardens provides upscale rentals on Utila for those wanting more than just a room and bed. US style amenities include hot water throughout, A/C, and full kitchens. Great, quiet location, but close to town.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Utila Getaway

Our accommodations were fabulous, just as advertised, “a home away from home “. This was great for some seasoned travelers like us. Really appreciated being in the village neighborhood among the locals. The icing on the cake were our hosts, Jo and Tony; they were available any time, anywhere to assist us.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed at the Gardens for three weeks and enjoyed our stay very much. The unit we had (bottom left side) was rustic, which we expected, but comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked to do the cooking we did, and the shared grill was brand new and worked great. The bedroom has an air conditioner but we didn’t use it because the ceiling fans and opened windows were good enough during our stay. The bed is wonderfully comfortable.The location is mostly good, walking distance to most things, but the road vehicle noise did get to us once in a while. Finally, Tony and Jo are wonderful hosts. They are busy with all their enterprises but they always had time to answer a question or address an issue. We really appreciated all they did for us from greeting us at the ferry to arranging a golf cart rental.

Why they chose this property

The Main Floor of The Gardens is part of our little boutique hotel/apartments that sit on a paved road (a huge value in Rainy Season!), has a security fence surrounding the entire property, and is close to dive shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. This is an ideal place to have so much more than just a bed in a box with some posters slapped on the walls. Of course, hot water is throughout, and bedrooms have oversized A/C units for your convenience.
