The cottage is situated in the wonderful garden of our house which is located on Greenwood Road, off Village Road We are next door to the Bahamas National Trust, which has hundreds of species of palms and conducts daily tours .
The cottage is next door to the main house, which was built in 1924 of native pine.It is attractively furnished, and air conditioned.
The upstairs bedroom has hardwood floors, a bathroom with shower and a walk in closet.
There is a ceiling fan, a queensize bed and a well stocked bookshelf.
Downstairs is the living room and a small kitchen with fridge Microwave coffee maker, toaster and four burner stove with oven. Living room is 16'X20' and has a big comfortable couch and chair, small dining table an attractive bar and a tiled floor and ceiling fan. There is a flatscreen HD TV with Cable AND premium movie channels

Outside is a covered patio equipped with two armchairs, a small circular dining table with two teak chairs, and the hummingbird feeder.There is ceiling fan with light and additional lighting,
which makes it perfect for romantic candlelit dinners. It is next to another pond with fountain. There are hundreds of birds, making the cottage a birdwatchers paradise.
There is a small, very private pool. two chaise longues with mattresses and big towels for day or night bathing. During your visit it is for your exclusive use. The pool area and all the garden is beautifully lit after dark
Privacy, comfort, serenity and a gorgeous garden of native trees and orchids are the main features of our property.
Complimentary, very drinkable wine, beer, rum and vodka, laundry service and bottled water are provided for our guests. There are beach chairs beach towels and our housekeeper tidies the cottage four days a week.
There is a very lovely white sand beach within easy walking distance, and we will supply canvas beach chairs, bottled water and a cooler!

There is public transportation within a two minute walk of the house, but a rental car is perhaps a better idea, especially if you want to go out in the evening.
We inherited this property 1n 1990, it has been in the family since 1948.Christina is a retired nurse and Leonard is a retired builder whose family has been in the Bahamas since the American Revolution since 1785. We are both Knowledgeable of the country, it's geography, flora, fauna and it's history. We have two children, five grandchildren and four cats, all living in Nassau.
