What makes this Cottage unique
We are very proud of our beautiful garden, and we even have a black mangrove growing on the eastern side. The cottage is very comfortable and quiet, and birds are everywhere especially in the winter, when the migrant birds arrive from North America.

I had a wonderful time at Catwalk. Leonard and Chrissy were perfect hosts. The weather was perfect. I could sit and watch the birds all day.
Perfect place for a much needed getaway!
Catwalk is a gem. From the gracious hosts to the well maintained cottage itself, we felt safe, welcome and comfortable. Chrissie and Leonard made us feel at home right away. They shared with us all the best spots on the island, from food to entertainment to beach time. The cottage has the essentials to get your started on your trip. Wine and beer in the refrigerator and coffee on the shelf, as well as salt, pepper, olive oil, and kitchen cooking equipment.
The grounds are lovely with plants, trees, gardens, little ponds, and dozens of amazing bird species. We enjoyed watching the birds as well as the cats. It was extremely tranquil and fun. Statues, art, and treasures around every corner.
The guest book in the cottage gave us even more insider information on the ins and outs of Nassau! We enjoyed many of the beaches and restaurants.
We rented a car and would recommend doing so. It only took a day to get used to driving on the left side of the road.
A few places we loved. Blue Sail, have lunch there, then check out their pretty beach. As you are heading home from JAWS beach, stop by Social House Sushi and Grill for their shrimp tacos. BEYOND YUMMY. Poop Deck or Green Parrot are the perfect place for a bar snack and people watching.
Perfect place for a couple to relax and unwind. We miss Chrissie and Leonard! Look forward to their hospitality again soon.
Very quaint quiet place! If you don’t want the hussel of tourists and noisy nightlife this is the place. Loved the cats and and all the variety of birds and plants
Quiet & homey!
Loved staying at the Catwalk! The host were welcoming & the accommodations were great! We had such a fun & relaxing time! We highly recommend staying here when you visit New Providence, Bahamas.
Peaceful and serene...A perfect choice!
Even reading the previous reviews while booking, this was a wonderful surprise, and an extremely good choice to stay here. Within a day of our stay, Leonard and Chrissie seemed like family - welcoming us to their guest home.
Chrissie and Leonard are wonderful hosts, and I too must echo many of the other reviews by expressing how friendly they are, and at the same time giving us all of the privacy that we desired... Sharing a glass of wine with them as they offered advice on places to eat and visit was delightful, watching them share their respect for each other - and for their guests was admirable. The cottage and grounds are so peaceful - the gardens, the kitties wandering around, the birds cooing and chirping, the many trees, flowers, sculptures and fountains provided for a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Photos cannot properly capture the setting, but we would highly recommend this place for a quiet, romantic getaway when visiting Nassau (unless you prefer the hustle and bustle of a resort), the CATWALK provided the calm, peaceful (much needed) relaxing setting that we desired. We hope to return some day, and very much look forward to it!

Hospitality with a capital "H"- Catwalk and hosts rock!
My husband and I adored Catwalk and thoroughly enjoyed the Bahamas! Catwalk is a lovely, artistic, little cottage that we found perfect for two. We love the freedom of our own kitchen when traveling and a place to call home vs. a sterile hotel room and/or an an all-inclusive resort.
Chrissie and Leonard are the epitome of hospitable and gracious hosts. I echo many of the other reviews in much of what I have to say, but must I repeat it! C&L are gracious, friendly and intuitive with their interactions - wanting to ensure guests are comfortable and welcomed, while affording us all the privacy we may desire. They offered to share a glass of wine at the nicest of times, offered a ride to our half marathon at 4:45am (who does this??), and many other considerate touches. The cottage and grounds are gorgeous and peaceful - a garden setting like we don't have in the Northeast USA. Many, many trees, rock gardens, sculptures and birds - artistic and creative touches everywhere. Even more lovely than photos can capture. They have adorable and loving cats too, happy to visit as desired.
We did not rent a car; enjoyed walking and taking the local jitneys (buses) to wherever we needed to go. However, we were there when temps were mostly in the 70's. If it was much hotter, I would have wanted to rent a car, as a lot of walking would not have been so appealing.
By taking the buses, we enjoyed seeing some of the neighborhoods and more of the island, learning about local culture and interacting with Bahamians, who are gracious and friendly people - every single person we encountered.
We would highly recommend Chrissie and Leonard's Catwalk cottage and will definitely be back next time we are in the Bahamas.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!
