Very Cozy Stay

My family of 4 were just in town for a few days but this place was the perfect fit for us. Although it is small it was very cozy and just what we needed. The perfect getaway home for a couple or small family!

Beautiful little house, quick drive to the Minneapolis Christmas fair and then we cooked a 5 course dinner in the kitchen, and hunkered down on a cold MN evening for a quick romantic getaway.

Communication with the host was great! Easily accessed the property, everything was clean and ready to go, and the place is cooler than the other side of the pillow. The house is directly under the landing path for the local airport but there's a noise machine in the bedroom that cancelled out all of the outside noise making sleeping a breeze. Would absolutely book again!

Cute clean house

I stayed here for five nights when I was in town for work, and could not have been happier with my stay. The house is cute, secure, easy to access, clean, and comfortable in a lovely part of South Minneapolis. Tanya could not have been more lovely, accommodating, and quick to respond. I actually can't wait to stay here again and I cannot recommend it enough!

Perfect little spot!

Everything about our stay was great. Before we got there, we received all the information to help us get to the house, and get in. The house was completely set up for anything you could need and had helpful posters with instructions and other information. The owners we are always accessible and incredibly kind and accommodating. Super clean and organized! 10/10 would recommend!!

Hello! I am Tanya. My husband Matt and I live in the Twin Cities, which is what we call Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN. We started out flipping houses in 2018, fast forward to the end of 2020, we had a property that didn’t want to sell so someone suggested we try it as a furnished rental. Countless trips to furniture stores, decor stores, hardware stores and deliveries from Amazon, we opened the Hart House in November of 2020 for guests to start booking on Airbnb and VRBO! As of 2025 we have 4 rentals in the Twin Cities and LOVE hosting people visiting the area.

I feel fortunate that we get to host people from all over in our houses. As avid travelers, we try to stock our places with all of the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, just like we have experienced in rentals across the world. When setting up a new rental I think about the things I need when I am away from home. The kitchen is probably the place I like to buy for the most. Getting my own place to cook is one of the main reasons we book Furnished, Short Term Rentals when we travel.

We have been living in the Twin Cities for 20+ years, which means we know what it has to offer! We love to try new restaurants, breweries, places and adventures and trust us, Minnesota has a ton of all of that. Check out our Twin Cities Best page for our suggestions. This is hands down one of my favorite evolving pieces to write.

Why they chose this property

So close to the airport which is awesome! Also close to Mall of America. Only a couple blocks off Hwy 62 which can bring you all over the Twin Cities for awesome things! Gorgeous Bosen park is two blocks away and the Nokomis Lake area is within 10 minutes to walk to!!

What makes this property unique

We really dug deep to give Prince (the singer) life in this place! He comes out in the lyrics, the pictures & records, the velvet and leopard print. Just love this place so much!!
