We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Great Western Lodging! You were a great guest and we'd love to host you again. Feel free to reach out to our reservations team and we'll start planning your next mountain adventure!
This condo was perfect for my family. We were able to ski right down to the lift and walk to restaurants and shops. The location was great. The beds were comfy, too!
Amazing location. Easy ski in ski out
Very close to ski school.
Outdoor jacuzzi was cold - but that was a building issue.
Overall amazing stay thank you so much!
This place was a great ski in/out right at the Quicksilver chair in Breckenridge! Very short walk to Main St (which we did daily to get coffee/food). Saw 2 moose right out back near the walk to the chairlift, which the kids and wife loved. The place was neat/clean and had a few humidifiers which were very necessary in the dry Colorado air. We are already looking forward to coming back!
The place was a a dump, closet, shower and patio doors all broken. Very run down and not well kept up. Shower had mold and scum, gross

Thanks for your review. We took care of the the minor maintenance issues you mentioned and addressed this with our housekeeping team. We strive to provide a comfortable and well-maintained space for our guests, and it is disappointing to hear you felt that fell short during your stay.
Trails End is an older building so common areas show the age, but this unit has been updated nicely. Beds were comfortable (including the sofa bed) and kitchen was functional with all essentials. Location is great with easy walk to town and ski in/out, however at peak times the wait at the Quicksilver lift is very long (20+ minutes) so walking up to the Beaver Run lift is a better option if you're able. A few things to note: when unloading at the front door of the building, it's necessary to haul your bags and gear up a set of steps to get to the elevator; the ski locker is very small and narrow (problematic at busy times); outdoor hot tub was lukewarm and dirty (hot tub inside was okay); and water pressure was very low in the shared bathroom in the unit. Great Western Lodging was pleasant and responsive in every interaction with them. We've stayed in a variety of places at Breck - Trails End was not our favorite, but it is a good value if you're looking for a convenient Peak 9 location, and this particular unit was nice.

Great location, average condo
The location was definitely the best part of this rental unit. We could ski right out from a path out the back door down to the Quicksilver Lift. And it was easy to ski back in each afternoon. We had one request from the staff prior to check-in, and they had it complete by the time we arrived at the condo. We also had one problem occur during our stay which they also addressed promptly. The living room furniture was comfortable although we could never get the fireplace to turn on - not a big deal since we were warm the whole week. In fairness, we did not report that. The beds were VERY firm to the point of being considered hard. As an over 40 year old, that made me really sore in the mornings. The chest of drawers in the second bedroom was horrible. The drawers didn't slide out well at all, and it seemed like it was on the verge of falling apart. The second bedroom is VERY TINY, and my husband and I joked that we couldn't both be in there at the same time. Also, I wish that there was a curtain or something across the bathroom area for the second bathroom. I was brushing my teeth in the hall without privacy. Overall though, we will not be staying in this condo again. I would rather pay more and not have a sore back every morning. But that is personal preference; a lot of people love hard mattresses!

Dear Wbsherlock:
Thank you for your review of Trails End #501! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.
I have shared your review with the owner about mattresses being hard, the need to replace the dresser in the second bedroom, as well as the suggestion about the curtain in the second bathroom - thank you for noting!
Please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!
Sincerely,

Property was clean and in a great location. We have stayed at Trails End before and found it convenient to downtown Breckenridge and the slopes. We would stay at this condo again.
True ski in/ski out with quick access to Quicksilver lift and walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. Beds were comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. We will definitely come back!
We stayed here recently with some friends and found the ski in/ski out to be very convenient. A lot of properties claim to be ski in/ski out but aren't. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it truly was.
One note - and this is not a problem at all, just an FYI. There is a coffee maker to make a full pot of coffee but no Keurig. Our friends always bring their own K Cups to use but found there wasn't a machine to use them. Again, just an FYI if you are particular about your coffee. :-) There are plenty of coffee shops in walking distance as well.
This was a great place to stay!! We were just a short walk to the lift and to main st. Our family had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be coming back.
Unit is spacious and stocked with everything you will need. Easy to keep a comfortable temperature. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountain. Condo was quiet; we rarely heard anyone above us. No bathtubs, only showers but the on-site hot tubs were wonderful. Only downside is unloading/loading the car. You cannot take the luggage trolley to your vehicle as there is a set of stairs when you first enter the building. We would stay again!
We had a great stay at this condo. Close to everything. The condo was super clean and had everything you would need. It also has hot tubs and a sauna which we took advantage of. I would definitely stay here again.
This property was fine. It worked as a touch point for exploring Breck. No provided coffee-even for the first morning-which was the first time this has occurred in any VRBO I have stayed in.
The stay was beautiful and the temperature was perfect. The location was walking distance from shopping and eating. We enjoyed many activities. The only negative was the swimming pool was not on the property.
The stay was great, great location but the hot tub was closed and not mentioned in the booking but most inconvenient part was the payment process. They sent an email saying my final payment was due on January 6 but billed me on December 22. When I called and asked why I was billed early they said it is VRBO policy to pay 30 days before arrival but Great Mountain lodge requires payment 45 days before arrival. I booked with VRBO and their email was different from what they did. It also charged to a company called Yapstone. The end result was I had no clue what that charge was and thought my card had been stolen. It was a big mess! They need clearer payment process if they are going to continue to do business with VRBO
