From this charming villa, Florence (55 Km North) is within easy reach, as is the Chianti area, for tasting delicious wines in world-renowned Wine Estates. Or head South and enjoy the unique landscapes of Le Crete Senesi or the Val d’Orcia - Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano.
This wonderfully renovated farmhouse, containing all the requisite modern conveniences, enjoys privacy and seclusion, in a large estate surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and oaks, and is connected to the outside world by a quiet country lane.
Villa Alhambra has a well-kept, fenced garden: full of flowers and olives tree, and equipped with different relaxing areas, a large patio with a real Pizza oven and BBQ, a perfect place for al fresco dinner during summer time.
The amazing infinity swimming pool (16x5 meters, open from the 1st June-30th of September) is just steps away,and is equipped with long chairs, pillows and a comfortable futon in the shade. After a swim in the pool, relax in the Sauna or take advantage of the extra bathroom with shower, both situated alongside the pool.
Villa Alhambra consists of a main house and a large dependence.The main house is Air Conditioned while the Guesthouse has the AC in the bedroom. Also,private parking is available.MAIN HOUSE
200 sq meters large, developed on two levels, and personally furnished by the owner, the Main house of Villa Alhambra is a perfect place to enjoy an the authentic experience in the Tuscan countryside! Refined with Cotto floors and beamed ceilings, the ground floor consists of a large charming living room with fireplace, iPod dock and TV area (SAT TV). Each room on this floor has direct access to the garden.
The dining room contains a long wooden table in front of a large window with beautiful views on the garden.
Next to the dining room there is a fully equipped kitchen: Fireplace, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven, gas range (5 burners), double sink, American coffee machine, Italian Lavazza Espresso machine and washing machine. There is also a guest half-bathroom.
A stone staircase (13 Steps) leads to the second floor. On this floor there are 3 cozy air conditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms: one double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bathtub (handled shower); a second double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower; a third double or two twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and double marble sink (this bedroom also has a safe and a large walk-in closet). All the bedrooms have cotta floors and beamed ceilings, and are furnished with fine wooden antiques. The beds are not convertible into twin beds; however, there is a baby-bed available.DEPENDANCE
Next to the main house there is a large dependence (small cottage) of 180 Sq meters which consists of a bright and spacious living room with fireplace, large windows and a comfortable red sofa, TV, stereo and long chair. Included in the rental price are: 3 hours of housekeeping on Monday,Wednesday and Saturday for rentals longer than a week; bed and bath linens changed each Wednesday and Saturday for rentals longer than a week; pool cleaning.
There is a hairdryer in each bathroom. Iron and Iron board.
