Perfect City Retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay in Culver City escape. It was a great retreat from the busy city at the end of the day, beautifully different with lots of interesting and thoughtful touches and everything we needed.

Culver City Cottage

Monika was a great host and was always accommodating. She communicated well and checked us in to ensure we were ready to go by answering all of our questions. The space is quaint but enough room where my spouse and I had plenty of room to spread out. The pool is very refreshing and the additional shared space is awesome to lounge in. It was not an issue but the air conditioner is a little loud and kept half the room cool. The fan provided did circulate the cool air around a bit. Off street parking was nice for our car rental and the location was perfect for us. Many great places to eat within walking distance and easy access to the 405 to get anywhere else including a very short drive to Venice Beach.

Awesome So Cal Cottage!

This small cottage was perfect for 2 of us. We had family over and relaxed and visited by the pool. Everything was clean and we were provided with everything we needed. This is a great location for Westwood, Santa Monica and the airport. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning if it's available.

Wonderful poolside cottage

In town for four nights to attend our daughter’s college graduation and have fun. convenient location. Host was very attentive and pleasant. We will rebook next time in town.

Wunderbare Unterkunft im Grünen mit einer. fantastischen Gastgeberin Meine Frau und ich haben 2 Wochen in Monika‘s Cottage genossen. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt eingerichtet. Neben einer kleinen Küche war es uns auch möglich eine Waschmaschine und Trockner zu nutzen. Wir haben uns jeden morgen ein lecker Frühstück zubereitet. Lebensmittelgeschäfte und sehr gute Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Strände Marina del Rey, Venice Beach und Santa Monica sind alle in weniger als 20min erreichbar. Bei der Ankunft hat uns Monika mit einem gefüllten Kühlschrank überrascht. Das Cottage liegt in einer grünen Oase mit einem herrlichen Pool, der von den Gästen benutzt werden darf. Monika legt viel Wert darauf, dass ihre Gäste ungestört sind. Per SMS hatten wir ständig die Möglichkeit mit ihr zu kommunizieren. Da unser Sohn in Culver City arbeitet, werden wir mit Sicherheit das nächste Mal wieder bei Monika unterkommen

Excellent and welcoming

Monika is an amazing hostess and it's a great place to stay for a few days. We had a great time and the bed is super comfortable. Has everything you could need and while it was a little chilly for the pool, it's a lovely garden to sit out in.

A sweet spot with special garden and great host

The host lives on site and is one of the most gracious and generous hosts I've encountered in my travels. Her attention to detail has curated a beautifully unique and charming space and the garden is heaven. The studio is a converted garage, hence cools and heats up easily. Space heaters provide warmth on cool evenings, but I believe the A/C unit in the wall is currently not working. The kitchen is wonderfully outfitted if you prefer to cook, or there are tons of great restaurants nearby. The location is perfect and surprisingly quiet. A true oasis.

Beautiful abode in a great location

Very comfortable great location. Host is incredibly kind and provided us with snacks, advice and good vibes. The room is a little cold but she had a heater available for use. Just a very relaxing place to start and end the day, definitely recommend

Private enjoyable place.

It is a clean comfortable place with a swimming pool just for those staying there. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with many good restaurants in the area if you want to eat out. We had breakfast and lunch at the rental place, and went out for dinner in the evening. We enjoyed swimming every day. It was great!

Everything is just as it looks in the posting. Adorable cottage on quiet street. Great central location. Monica was a wonderful host. The pool was wonderful during the hot afternoons. We loved it!

Best stay on our road trip!!!

Monika is a wonderful host. Her accommodation is uniquely beautiful. We stayed here as part of our road trip and felt like we were in an oasis in the middle of L.A. The cottage is so lovingly furnished, nothing is missing. We had been traveling for a while and it was great to be able to use the washing machine. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. There was even a barbecue we could use. We had a wonderful 4 days. Thank you Monika, we would come back anytime.
