Why The Owner chose Sequoia, Kings Canyon

We have enjoyed this property as a 'family compound' since we purchased it in 2000. We love this area and this property is simply a slice of heaven.

What makes this house unique

We enjoy each of the unique seasons the area has to offer. We enjoy swimming and floating on the river during the summer...there is no better place to be found. Regardless of the season, the year-round flow of the river is absolutely beautiful and relaxing.

We loved staying at this house. The weather was hot but we loved swimming in the water. The owner was very hospitable. We would love to stay here again.

Three Rivers Riverfront

  • 2 of 5

The house looks and sounds great on line, but it really needs some maintenance. The sliding glass doors do not work to open on to the River to cool off in the evening (bedroom does, but screen does not fit door to keep mosquitoes out). Air conditioner "kicked off" once and we had to shut off for a few hours. The outdoor area could probably take a 2-3 days to clean up and really be nice. Best part of house was the river, sitting on the deck over looking the flowing water.

Fantastic Weekend Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the cabin for 2 nights with friends to visit Sequoia and discover the very charming town on Three Rivers. My friends and I had a wonderful time! The cabin is very quaint and private. Perfect location and the river was beautiful. I enjoyed coffee on the porch overlooking the river each morning, great way to greet the day. There were plenty of pillows and blankets for several guests. The place was perfect for our stay and was in great condition when we arrived. The local supermarket and restaurants were great. -- Steve was very helpful and easy to reach by phone or text. Highly recommend staying here. It was everything I hoped it would be! You will love it!

Beautiful surroundings

  • 4 of 5

It was a very comfortable and roomy house for the three of us. The kitchen was very well stocked. The patio was a wonderful place to sit and watch the river. The beds were comfortable, though there was a hole in the master bedroom sheet. The place was clean, though the carpet and furniture is worn and looks dirty. This is one of the best equiped kitchen we have ever seen as it had everything we needed, though the kitchen sink only gave hot water (what's up with that)? The peacefulness and privacy was wonderful. You can't get much closer to the entrance of the park, and you're surrounded by magnificent mountains. We loved the decor and natural light throughout the house. If you don't need fancy, the ranch is a great place to stay.

Sweet little place

Our family enjoyed our stay here. My 4-year-old said she wanted to "play here all the days and sleep here all the nights."
