This stunning, glass walled, 5000 SF single story mid century modern home on three sprawling and secluded acres, built in 1956 and updated for all modern conveniences, was Frederick Loewe’s “Little Camelot”. It is a private, self contained special event venue, featuring four hotel style bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, private spa, pool, semi-exclusive tennis & pickleball court, waterfall, fountains, sculptures, original art and an authentic Palm Springs feel to the decor.

Nestled on a boulder strewn hillside, the Estate offers unparalleled, jaw dropping, 360 degree views of Palm Springs, the San Jacinto Mountains, Coachella Valley below and extensively landscaped grounds and paths; truly the quintessential Palm Springs estate. The view extends for miles across the valley and mountains.Throughout the day, from the early hours of the morning as the sun rises over the valley until the sun sets and the city lights sparkle alive, this Estate transports you to your own private resort setting.

The extensively landscaped tiered grounds also features a variety of entertaining options with expansive main lawn and 'the point'; lower lawn with sculpture water feature; a lowered grass and water feature space; and two-tiered wood deck with unsurpassed views; and the upper lawn area and tennis court. The estate is often referred to as “magical”. It is the perfect setting for a wedding, corporate event, photo shoots, and other special events. Beautiful Architecture
This property is a retro-architecture enthusiasts dream. The property is spacious, quiet, and beautiful. Pros: Beautiful property Well maintained landscaping "Elusive" Privacy: see below Awesome View Beautiful Pool Amazing Architecture Gas Stove Hummingbirds Rabbits Cool Lizards Retro-Feel Historical While the property is very nice, with tons of potential there were some challenges with the stay. First and foremost, it was expensive. We stayed at this property for 5 days and 4 nights. Aside from the architecture, landscaping, beauty and history of the property these were the deficiencies: The town of Palm Springs has a lot of homeless people and drug addict types roaming the streets. The air conditioning was a bit dated and did not cool the property effectively, and expelled insects on to the dining room table. The grounds keeper showed up unannounced frequently, with all of the glass walls it was hard to not feel like you were being watched by the grounds keeper. There was a small construction site nearby which introduced early noise and more traffic in the small neighborhood than expected. The owner lives next door and had a direct pathway to the property via the landscaped paths. NOTE: We never saw the owner. There was no hot water in any of the showers. Water was warm on a good day. There were numerous cockroaches and grubs/maggots inside the house. The gate is manual The house had a "weird" smell, probably due to the cockroaches.

Gorgeous Mid-Century Modern "Movie Star" Property
Little Tuscany lived up to and beyond its billing! The home is a stunning, mid-century modern classic, with a kidney-shaped pool, immaculately manicured grounds, a great tennis court, and multiple views of the Palm Springs area. The hosts were very responsive and ensured a star-quality stay for us. This 3-acre estate is special and has everything a large group needs for an on-site luxury stay! We will be back soon. Thank you Cindy and Abel for making our stay an outstanding experience! You two are fantastic!!

Magical vacatioin
My family had a wonderful time at this magical property on the edges of Palm Springs. The landscaping and views are spectacular, and the house has lots of glass to help you enjoy it. Our group loved having tennis there, a warm pool (with it's own island!) hot tub, lawn games and cozy fires in the many fireplaces. Thank you!

Stunning property
Stunning property. We had a great time in this beautiful house. Loved the master in particular with the spinning bed . The grounds are absolutely stunning. Such a fun place to explore. Had a nice chat with the gardener who seemed to be there a lot but we weren't bothered at all by his presence . Great guy. Swimming pool was a perfect temperature. It was a bit windy and cold for our stay but we made the most of it. Also loved the tennis court. Thanks again, Val

Staying in your own private park.
A good time was had by all! The grounds of this property are amazing (not to mention the mid century architecture). The kids had plenty of room to explore and hone their rock scrambling skills. Plenty of grass area to run and play. As I've read before the only downside was that the lighting in the Kitchen is a little dim but that being said the place is amazing!

Great Property for Adults and Kids
Highly recommended for all ages, and ideal if you are looking for "lockdown" accomodations where you might rarely leave the premises. The outside space is huge and beautiful. The pool area is partially shaded and very pleasant when the weather is good, and there's an option for a removable fence if you have small kids with you. Pool and spa heat were good. The tennis court is also in good condition. The master bedroom is pretty spectacular, with great views, sliding doors, and the very relaxing sound of the waterfall/fountain outside if it's warm enough to leave just the screen doors closed at night. Note that one of the other three bedrooms is a "walk through" on the way to the large "casita" bedroom, although those in the casita do have an option to enter directly from outside. Kitchen is good and well stocked, with two refrigerator/freezers and two ovens. The gas stove top does need to be lit with a kitchen lighter, but worked well. The dining room, like the master bedroom, has fantastic views through glass walls... really beautiful. Laundry is good and there's plenty of parking space. There were a few extremely minor issues that may have already been addressed... lighting was very dim in some areas but could easily be improved with some updated LED bulbs. The wifi was strong in the central part of house and master bedroom, but needed a couple of extenders for use in the further reaches of the house. Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay, and we would return.

Classic Palm Springs
The Loewe Estate was fantastic. The property is huge, and beautifully landscaped. The house itself is classic and expansive. We never left the property, and everyone had a fantastic extended weekend. There were a couple of issues, but all were addressed quickly which was highly appreciated.

Beautiful and luxurious and I want to go back!
This place was a dream! Huge windows everywhere allowed me to enjoy the beautiful landscape and scenery while staying comfy inside. The whole place was breathtaking and completely set up to entertain guests or just lounge around. There was hardly any reason to leave the bedroom, but then you'd miss out on how amazing the whole estate is! I absolutely would love to go back!

Beautiful Surroundings
I loved staying at the Frederick Lowe mansion. The house is so spacious and luxurious. My party and I were there for 4 days and really enjoyed looking at the beautiful grounds from various parts of the house. Personally, I loved the pool. There’s something magical about swimming under a rubber tree, surrounded by beautiful gardens. We were lucky enough to have a piano player in our group. We spent a couple of our evenings around the grand piano, playing and singing. There’s nothing like joining together making music to make a vacation memorable. I’ll remember this trip for a long time!

Absolutely incredible!
The Frederick Loewe Estate is a home like none I've ever seen before. And I've seen a lot of homes. The photos here are beautiful, but they don't even come close to showing what a magnificent property it is. Sprawling manicured grounds, thoughtful design and good old-fashioned luxury. We had 10 guests for a 40th birthday with another 15 staying nearby. When we all got together at the house there was still room for literally hundreds more. Spending a weekend at the Frederick Loewe Estate is a truly unique and wonderful experience. Tell your friends. Actually don't. I'd rather keep this our little secret.

Incredible!
Just returned from an amazing weekend at this incredible place. Everything about the house and property is amazing! The bedrooms are comfortable and have everything you need. They are sort of like hotel rooms with a TV, DVD player, bathroom, individual heating and air conditioning and comfortable new beds with cozy bedding. I am very picky about where I sleep and I was very comfortable in all respects. Most of the bedrooms have floor to ceiling windows, so you can wake up to a view of the mountains. The house is set up perfectly for hanging out and entertaining, with a large modern kitchen, BBQ, family room with flat screen TV and living room with plenty of seating and a built-in bar and a huge dining room table for 16. Many of the rooms have fire places, although we did not use them because it was warm. Even better than the house itself, are the grounds and views!! The property goes on and on and the landscaping is to die for. There are so many different views, depending on where you are on the property. There is a tennis court, pool, Jacuzzi, 2 golf holes, a rose garden, fountains and multiple sitting areas. There is a big outside fire pit with boulders to sit on and we had a roaring fire at night. Everyone hung out and enjoyed the views of the stars and city lights below. Just being there felt so good and relaxed. Make sure to get up before the sun starts to rise. The orange sky over the mountains is amazing. Even though we were there for the film festival, it was really hard to leave to go out. In fact, if I am lucky enough to go back, I may never leave the property. I felt good from the moment I walked in to the moment I had to leave – it was like I was in another place and it was a special one. The photos don’t do it justice and I can’t do it justice in words – you have to be there.

Amazing Views and Grounds!!!
Just got back from a stay at this wonderful property. Had a girls weekend with my sisters, nieces and friends. I hadn't been to Palm Springs in a number of years. I thought Palm Springs was a boring place and never intended to return. I have done a 360 in terms of my view of Palm Springs. I love Palm Springs now. I had a fantastic time both hanging at the property and going out in town. I loved getting up in the morning, getting a cup of coffee and sitting on the deck watching the sun rise over the mountains. It put me in a good mood for the whole day. After a while, I would either take a jacuzzi or go hiking. There is a great hike just out the back door. My favorite room in the house is the master bedroom. It is awesome waking up in the morning seeing the sunrise over the mountains. Master bathroom is huge with a eight head shower. We had a great time cooking in the large kitchen, eating at the large dining room table with wonderful views, partying in the huge living room with built in bar, enjoying the warmth from the outside fire pit in the cool night's air. It was wonderful being in our own world with no neighbors to intrude on our fantastic holiday. This rental is not for those looking to save a buck. It is high end rental for those who want to spoil themselves. It is an ideal place to invite guests to hang out. There is a small hotel a couple blocks away to lodge the overflow.
