Wonderful Big Sky Townhome

  • 5 of 5

Took my family (5 of us) to Big Sky for 6 days over New Years and can't say enough about our trip and Aplenglow 35B. 1st and foremost, the townhome is exactly (if not better) than described. Very clean, new and comfortable. Everything you need for your stay was provided, from the well stocked kitchen, comfortable family room with cable, DVD's and a Wii. As important, the bedrooms are roomy and the beds are very comfortable! Linens are fresh and clean and each bedroom had a fan, humidifier and extra linens/pillows. There's a very nice laundry room as well. We enjoyed the hot tub which is on the back of the townhome, private and the view is exactly as shown in the photo! John was very easy to work with and emailed me several times prior to and during my stay with helpful information and recommendations on restaurants. We opted not to rent a car during our stay and I was a little concerned as I have had friends who have gone to Big Sky and told me a car is a must. However we had a great experience with the Big Sky shuttle. The shuttle literally picks up about 15O feet (maybe less) from the townhome (about a 30 second walk) and drops you off right at the base of Mountain Village. The ride is literally 2 to 3 minutes and the shuttle was on-time, every-time. We even took the shuttle down to Meadow Village for dinner and had the same great experience - on time and very easy. We did walk from Aplenglow to Mountain Village several times (not with skis/boots, but in the evening for dinner/drinks), not because there wasn't a shuttle, but because we like to walk. The walk is 17 to 20 minutes which we enjoyed. If you do bring a car, the townhome has a attached garage with racks for your skis/boards. Overall, can't say enough about Big Sky and Alpenglow 35B. We'll be back!!

Christmas 2017

  • 5 of 5

We had such a lovely time here. I’m so glad we skipped a traditional Christmas in favor of an experience. The townhouse was perfect for our family of 4. We have 2 teenage girls and everyone had enough space. You could easily have 6 adults or more here and be comfortable. The home was well appointed and everything was in great condition. The kitchen has all required pots/pans/serving dishes etc. The beds and sheets were very nice and there are plenty of towels for the hot tub. It was glorious to take a soak after skiing all day. This unit is close to the shuttle bus or a 2 min drive up to the base of the mountain. The driveway and walkways were always cleared of snow in a timely fashion. I was really impressed. The pictures don’t do it justice.. it’s even better in person. I’d definitely be back and stay here again. Thanks John and Sarah for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Close to slopes. Spacious and clean.

My sons and I really enjoyed our recent stay at Alpenglow. The condo is spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a short drive to the Big Sky base camp. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware. The garage is large and handy for loading out of the weather. And the view out the back (and from the hot tub) is hard to beat. We would stay here again. Thank you!

The condo is very nice, plenty of room for a family of 4. The kitchen has all the appliance amenities of home for baking and cooking. We didn't use the ski shuttle service, but the drive over to Big Sky base camp isn't very far. Management company was very good about plowing and shoveling snow. Thank you for a very nice stay Alpenglow!

Highly Recommended

We just completed our first family trip to Big Sky – This condo was first class. Convenient location, well appointed, super clean, “like new” condition, etc. John, the owner, was very responsive to any inquiries. Alpenglow condos are not located in the resort proper (2 minutes)– But that’s no issue what-so-ever. In fact, we liked it better that way - A super short commute and we could start the day right at the mountain base rather than staying ski in/ski out and dealing with slow chairlifts. In addition, the privacy and views were huge plusses when relaxing in the evening. Our 2016 Spring Break in Big Sky ranks #1 on our list of winter vacations – Great mountain, great snow and great accommodations.

The place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This is a condo for the ages. Definitely a must stay for your Big Sky travels. It's just across the street from Big Sky's village, and just up the road from the grocery store, good restaurants, movie theaters and so on.

Other reviews swear by this home's decor, spaciousness and livability- to expand, the owners make sure you feel good about your stay, with nothing to worry about along the way. A recent stay saw daily snowfall. And without fail every day the driveway and walkway were plowed and cleared when we returned. Nice and classy touches- at reasonable prices. You will enjoy your time here in this fine lodging, no question.
