Situato ai margini di Barton Hills, a soli 2 isolati da Zilker Park e dalla piscina di Barton Springs, The Sweet è il luogo perfetto per una coppia o una piccola famiglia, venendo a godersi ciò che Austin fa meglio: uscire all'aperto!

Forniamo gli asciugamani da spiaggia, (tappetini da spiaggia, noodles e / o sedie da campo su richiesta) ora devi solo passeggiare giù per la collina e fare un tuffo nelle limpide acque alimentate a sorgente di Barton Springs. A 68 gradi tutto l'anno, ti rinfrescherà fino al midollo! Se il nuoto non fa per te, ci sono i giardini botanici, il centro naturale, le escursioni e le piste ciclabili, il percorso della cintura verde, il grande prato, il golf del frisbee, il parco giochi e il treno per bambini per i più piccoli. E se non viaggi in bici, non ti preoccupare, ti abbiamo coperto. Abbiamo diverse opzioni per il noleggio di biciclette proprio nel quartiere!

Austin al suo meglio: Austin è anche conosciuta per l'eccellenza gastronomica. A breve distanza ci sono molti dei ristoranti più famosi di Austin. Chuy's Tex-Mex e Shady Grove sono tutti a meno di un miglio e il ristorante di sushi più famoso di Austin, UCHI, è a poco più di un miglio di distanza. Se il caffè espresso fa per te, non guardare oltre Austin Java Co, a circa un miglio di distanza.

Le attività ricreative nelle vicinanze sono numerose. Durante l'estate c'è teatro dal vivo giovedì - domenica sera allo Zilker Hillside Theater e ci sono anche spettacoli mercoledì - domenica quasi tutte le settimane allo Zach Scott Theater a poco meno di un miglio di distanza. La musica dal vivo è in tutta Austin e uno dei locali più famosi di Austin, The Saxon Pub, è a circa un miglio di distanza! E poi c'è musica dal vivo con una grande marea di danza e karaoke nella famosa High Ball accanto all'Alamo Drafthouse, dove si guardano film mentre vengono serviti cibo e bevande - tutto a poco più di un miglio!

Inutile dire che se conosci Austin sto solo predicando al coro. Ma se non hai mai visitato qui, allora sei in una vera delizia!

I have stayed at The Sweet on numerous visits and have found it to be consistently well-appointed, carefully maintained and excruciatingly clean. The location is within easy walking distance of the hike-bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool and even a neighborhood grocery store. I fully expect to stay there again next time I have occasion to be in Austin. Highly recommended!

We always book with this wonderful team every time we come to Austin! Always clean, great AC, relaxing porch, and easy communication with host as needed. We really enjoyed our stay here. The space itself is clean, but nothing flashy. Your location is perfect to access Barton Springs, the greenbelt, and the rest of Austin. It was easy to enjoy most of what Austin has to offer with experiencing as little traffic as possible. As an active family traveling we also really appreciated access to the washers and dryers on site. The hosts communication was great too. We definitely would consider staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful and our place was comfortable. This area is near the great Zilker Park & Botanical Gardens as well as Barton Springs Pool. The Double Decker Bus tour of the city is very good.We walked on the trail next to Barton Creek and Lady Bird Lake. One has easy access to shopping, restaurants and sights in Austin. We would return without hesitation!

I live in Austin and was having remodeling done on my home. I wanted something basic, clean and convenient. The stay at the sweet, provided amenities I did not expect- a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Clean, well appointed and great communication. The two items to be aware is parking is very tight in a high volume area. Another tenant actually let his door go and put a large dent in my new car. He was kind and came and told me while providing his insurance. But still-The other item is if you want a well lit stay, this would not be the unit for you. I say that, yet the paint colors and decor is uplifting and makes you feel comfortable, especially for the price.

Hi Sherry, We are glad that you loved your stay overall and our amenities at The Sweet! It's a shame that one of our other guests put a ding in your car. I'm glad he contacted you about it, but still a big hassle. As far as the light in The Sweet, we are built into a hill, so we don't get as much light in there, being on the 1st level, as we do on the 2nd and 3rd level of the building. Great place for a visit

The Sweet was the perfect place to stay for a visit to Austin. It was in a great location so close to Barton Springs. The hosts were very nice and offered a lot of advice for things to do and places to eat.

Short Turn in Lubbock

Excellent place to stay! This staff less hotel checks all the right boxes as far as communication, instructions, accommodation and cleanliness that make this place a little hidden gem. Will definitely be looking to stay here anytime I am in Lubbock.

Great place, great location

This property is everything listed with all the amenities. We loved that we were so close to Zilker park that we could see the Christmas tree lit up at night. Definitely a great place and great price.

Well located and well appointed. Great place to stay!

We loved our stay at The Sweet. It was very cute and cozy, with everything that we needed. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Peach, the Broker in the family, is an avid golfer and likes to do anything outdoors as well as garden in his Zilker area home's backyard. Cynthia manages their rental property along with their son, Jay. Cynthia loves to cook the vegetables that Peach grows and take long walks, bike rides and swims.
