The Art Door Duplex only minutes from beach

The Art door is a renovated duplex located only minutes away from the beach. There are dozens of restaurants in the area and other things to do if the beach is not on your agenda. There is enough parking for two vehicles and with approval can accommodate more. There is high speed internet and Streaming platforms already hooked up to the TV, no cable. The private backyard has nice lighting so you can enjoy the late night activities outside after a long day.

Please note that the Studio is not a full 2nd bedroom how VRBO categorizes it.

Very easy to work with and accommodating for our puppies. The space is cozy and as described. Loved the backyard space! If you have an issue or question the host is quick to respond and help!

This is a good value for the space, but not luxurious. We could hear the Navy jets but they don’t fly at night. Bed is very firm. Someone else’s used bar of soap was still in the shower (gross!), but overall the place was very clean. It was easy to find and easy to come and go as we pleased.

It was very clean, bed was nice, bathroom was great. Couldn't figure out how to get any stations on the tv. I was waiting for check out instructions. Never got any. Bedroom window, the film had come off the bottom of the window where the bed was and there wasn't anything to lower the shade.

It was nice to stay in VA Beach, this place was nice and close to plenty of things to do- we just weren't a big fan of the neighborhood. The property was clean and overall pretty well stocked. Could have had a bit more in the way of ziplock bags/plastic wrap/trash bags/ etc. Still, cute place and would recommend to singles/couples looking for a place with easy access to VA Beach attractions.

Perfect for small space accommodation. The queen bed was very comfortable and I particularly liked the overhead fans and doors separating the kitchen/TV area from the bedroom. Location was close to the Beach and other areas of VA Beach. I definitely give this place 5 stars.

This is a lovely little spot that had just enough room for us! The parking situation was a bit confusing but Garrett responded quickly and was very helpful. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Second time here

This was our second time staying at Garrett’s place. It’s in a great location close to Virginia Beach and easy to get to the north parks as well. Nice space to bring our dog with the small fenced in yard.

Property location to Virginia Beach was great! Like a 10 minute drive. While small, its nice having a full size refrigerator, oven, and small kitchen which you wouldn't get with a hotel room. The one drawback is a lack of outlets in the bedroom by the bed. If you use a CPAP machine like I do, and then two people wish to charge their phones overnight by the bed, bring a small powerstrip for extended outlets. Also, the outlets behind the dresser in the bedroom and the outlet in the living room area (on the same wall) did not work. There are outlets of course in the kitchen area. Outside of this, I would definitely stay here again. Also, don't concern yourself being near the naval air base - they don't fly their jets early in the morning or late at night. If they did, we didn't hear them. Great little spot to stay.

This place was really cute. It was a perfect size for just myself, my husband and our little dog. It was centrally located and just minutes from just about everything. Area was quiet even with the occasional jet planes flying over which didn’t bother us at all.
