The Space:
The Nest:
Upstairs is a bedroom with a king size bed, TV and a full bathroom with a shower. This is a spacious area and will fit a pack and play if needed. Downstairs is a queen size bedroom and a full bathroom with a tub. The kitchen is fully furnished and there's a dining table that seats 4. There's a woodburning fireplace with a large TV above for hanging out and relaxing with the family. Outside is a hot tub on the front porch and it's covered so you can be in it if it's raining. The back balcony has a view that is breathtaking and you can sit on the back of it watching the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine or enjoy the sunrise in the morning with coffee. Perfect place to do devotions while watching God's beautiful creation. Once in a while you will have wild turkeys come to visit, raccoons, squirrels, etc.
There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand). You can follow the gravel road from The Nest up to the top - curve to the right - to find the gazebo, mountain view area and a bench swing that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the mountains behind it.
There will be a Pickle Ball court on the property in February.
There is a community Firepit behind Tanner Manor Lodge (#1231 Pine Mountain Way, the large brown cabin on the corner). Go behind the cabin and you will see 2 gravel paths, take the one to the left that leads up to the Firepit. There is a hose there to put out the fire after it has been used. If you go down the other gravel road, there’s a well house and on the other side of the well house is a big deck box with outside games (bocce ball, croquet and other games in the future) for your use. Just please put them back after you are finished using them.
There is an EV charger at one of our cabins that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it while you are there so she can arrange it with the other guests. Washer/Dryer on property for use.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire cabin.

Other Things to Note:
We have a washer & dryer behind Tanner Manor Lodge (on the same property, on the corner) that will be available for all of our guests who don't have their own washers and dryers in their cabins. Laundry detergent is provided next to it. If there are clothes in the washer or dryer when you come to use it, please contact whoever's name is on the dry erase board. There are bench swings around Tanner Manor Lodge, a grill behind it and oversized chess and checkers on the back porch. Feel free to hang out and play while you are waiting on your laundry to be done.
No ice maker in the cabin.
Bring own firewood for fireplace (available October - March) and firepit. Bring charcoal for grilling.
There are vacation brochures, coupons and guides at the front of Tanner Manor Lodge and brochures about our cabins as a Destination Wedding Venue and for Retreats also located here. Feel free to choose what you need.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Family overnight Stay

We loved the cabin and the location, however my feet couldn't touch the floor in the upstairs bathroom. It was just not comfortable to use, sat too high. Opened the door to run get something out of the Truck to a Black Bear walking off the porch as if he was trying to get into the hot tub. Immediately I shut the door but we did get some awesome pictures. Oh what FUN that was considering we'd been to Cades Cove hoping to see just that (a Bear). A Wonderful Cabin, Location and all out Great place to stay. I recommend this to anyone wanting a Beautiful fews of the mountains.

Why they chose this property

This cabin is located on top of a mountain without having the steep drive up to it. No need for a 4x4 to get here, you can just drive a regular car up. The 8 cabins we own are all on the same 12 acres, making it the perfect location for a family reunion. We have a Destination Wedding Venue as well on the property that can be rented (or it comes free with 2 nights at The Vieux). Overall, our cabins and units sleep 50 people so for a wedding, reunion or retreat, you can have everyone stay within walking distance of each other. You are able to hike around the property and with the exception of the Beehive unit, every cabin and unit has a beautiful view of the mountains from it. Also, there is a gazebo and a small outside chapel (wedding venue) at the top of the gravel driveway on the property where you can see breathtaking sunsets, sunrises, Fall colors, a winter wonderland and other gorgeous views of the mountains, Pigeon Forge, etc.

What makes this property unique

Have you ever wanted to vacation with family and friends without vacationing directly with them? Need your space to spread out? Want a fun couples week/weekend with other couples but want your own privacy at the same time? This is the perfect place to rent. Just rent this along with another cabin(s) or one of our romantic unit(s) and have the perfect time away with friends. If one couple rents a cabin with a hot tub, everyone can use it in your group. Also, unlike other trips, there is no need for a vacation after the vacation when you have the relaxing scenery around you while having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night on the balcony/deck.

You can go hiking on the property to see beautiful, breath-taking views - especially from the top of the property (top of the gravel road) where you will find a gazebo and small outside chapel. This property is perfect for Destination Weddings as well with the gazebo and chapel. The property also has 5 cabins and 3 units on it. 1 is The Vieux (#2609521) sleeps 20, The Duck & Turtle Pond (#7565732) sleeps 6, The Loft (#3323255) sleeps 4 and The Nest (# 3325746) sleeps 4, Kissing the Clouds (#3325752) sleeps 4. The Ranch (#3323676) sleeps 8, The Beehive (# 3325745) sleeps 2 and The Nut House (# 3325751) sleeps 2 in a huge studio room. The Beehive & The Nut House are located in Tanner Manor Lodge along with The Ranch.
