Located in Iron Creek just minutes from downtown Stanley, this charming log cabin is the perfect mountain getaway. Featuring an open floor plan with vaulted living room, wood stove and views of an open meadow and mountains, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. There is a bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and single bed. The stairs in the living area lead to a big loft/2nd bedroom with a king bed and single bed and incredible views. The wrap around deck is the perfect hangout to relax and enjoy this beautiful area.

We loved our stay so much! The cabin was clean and had incredible views. Easy to check in and check out and contact with hosts was smooth too. The grill and deck were perfect. There seemed to be a bee problem at the time of our stay but wasn’t a huge issue. The only other downfall was not having blinds on some of the windows so we were up when the sun came up around 5:30am.

Perfect!

The cabin was perfect for us…it is in great condition and the deck is so peaceful, yet it is only ten minutes to town and so close to many great hike! Highly recommend!

Quiet paradise in Stanley

We had an amazing stay at this property. My wife, and three children and I stayed here for five days and loved the quiet, secluded beauty of this wonderful cabin. It’s a close drive to Stanley, but far enough away that you feel like you’re truly out in nature. The cabin is well kept, and has everything you would need. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Amazing cabin!

We so enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was perfect, especially the deck where we spent most of our time when home. The location felt private and secluded but was wonderfully convenient to Stanley and hiking trailheads. We loved the cozy chairs on the deck and plenty of seating inside as well. We enjoyed everything about our stay here! Thank you for letting us use your home for some much needed downtime!

Charming Stanley Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was tucked away just enough to feel secluded, but was close to everything Stanley and the Sawtooths have to offer. Super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view off the back patio was beautiful. Check in instructions were clear and easy. Dave is a superb host.

Our trip was amazing. The country is breath taking, views every where! The house was way more spacious than the photos, and the hosts were super aware and responsive. Also the outdoor space of the home is amazing.

Amazing cabin!

Better then the pictures! Loved this area, location was perfect and hiking amazing. 5 mins from Stanley but remote and a real gem. Love Stanley! Super Private and hidden in a great little cluster of really nice homes and sits at the end of a private road. Perfect cabin! We will be back!~!~

What a gem!

A group of friends and I waited too long to book a place in Stanley and just before we gave up, this mountain cabin suddenly became available. We absolutely loved the space. We rented during the week and were a mix of working remote and taking advantage of all there is to do nearby. The relaxed hosts provided all the necessary information for making it a great stay, but were not overly involved. The space is cozy and very well equipped from comfortable beds, to a stocked kitchen with quality products, to beach chairs/cooler, to the grill. We thoroughly enjoyed dinners on the deck, reading in the hammock and the peace and quite of the area. Reliable wifi connection to support video calls. Less than a 10 minute drive to Stanley Lake and town. We would highly recommend and hope to return!

Quiet oasis near stanley

Beautiful cabin home near Stanley. Host provided easy instructions for check in and kept us informed about an unfortunate nearby forest fire several miles south. This did not affect our stay. Stayed here to attend a wedding, glad we stayed in this cabin home. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Well enough space for three adults. Mostly at the home just at night since we were active most of the day at nearby lakes, trails/hikes, wedding activities at nearby venue. Kitchen was fully stocked if you are up for cooking, although we ate most meals at local restaurants in town. there is a Merc store for simple groceries by the gas station. Beautiful hike further down road at trailhead iron creek to Alpine lake and Sawtooth Lake. Also enjoyed a lake day at Stanley lake with parking right at lake. Beach chairs, beach towels and mat, coolers, bug spray and sunscreen were available for use in home. Washer and dryer in unit. Recommending this home to anyone interested in traveling to Stanley. Would stay here again. Would recommend host provide another standing fan for bottom room as summer heat did take a while for cabin to cool down even with AC unit. However this was not a big deal for us. Thank you for a clean and safe home.
