If you are doing anything at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh (or in Pittsburgh anywhere for that matter), stay here! It is a great and unique place right on Frick Park.

My family and I absolutely loved staying here. It’s quiet, you cannot hear the neighbors. It’s an absolute adorable little place. If my family and I ever go back to Pennsylvania, we will definitely try to stay here again!

Awesome, and cute little place. Building is very old but seems like they stay up on majority of maintenance. Not high end by any means but very nice place to stay at a very good price point. Would highly recommend, and would come back.

Very quaint with lots of room and rooms. Definitely has old historic character which was nice. Very minor things need some repair but nothing to squawk about. The area was pretty nice with things conveniently nearby like grocery store and places to eat. It was a pretty quick 10 minutes to Pittsburg. Overall, it was a nice place to call home for a few days.

We stayed at Parkside paradise while picking up our grandkids - one of 3 apartments for rent in the house. While the apartment was older and a bit run down, the location was perfect and the apartment had essentials that made being comfortable easy.

Hi Lanette,
It's great to hear that you found Parkside Paradise to be a convenient location, especially for your family visit. We understand that older properties may have their charm but might also show some signs of wear and tear. We appreciate your understanding and are pleased to know that the apartment had the essentials to ensure a comfortable stay.
Thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to host you again in the future for another family visit.

The house is in a convenient location to get around Pittsburgh and the South Hills. The house is quite spacious, obviously a grand home in its day--shown in the old millwork and mantelpieces. The furnishings are thrift store, done in shabby chic. The downside is that some of the upholstered furniture and mattresses have seen better days.

The apartment was charming but had some challenges. The stairwell had a distinct smell of pot. There was a smoke alarm going off loudly and consistently. The soap and shampoo were empty in the showers. Not all the hand towels and wash clothes looked clean. Downstairs neighbors threw a loud party Saturday night with music so loud it was like we were playing it ourselves. And lastly, the host never responded to my questions or concerns when we checked in. The price is good. You get what you pay for I guess.
This location has no business to be listed on Vrbo, and I am surprised Vrbo allowed this.
Three words - it's dirty, dirty, dirty, and also very dusty. As soon as we entered, my wife had an asthma attack which she didn't have in years.
Naturally, we left the property immediately and booked the hotel.
We were charged $ 468 for this non-stay, and we insist that we should be reimbursed, either by owners or by Vrbo, because all this is one huge misrepresentation!
