Welcome to the Haven!

Newberg’s newest destination is located on the grounds of the oldest wood-frame Farmhouse in the area. This is the original homestead of one of the pioneer founding fathers of Newberg.

Fully fenced and secluded behind two sets of gates, the Haven is just four short blocks from the restaurants, shops, pubs, tasting rooms and grocery stores of downtown Newberg.

The Haven is a contemporary, open-floor one bedroom, one bath guest home. It is completely fenced and backs up to a wooded area with a creek. It has not one but two gated entrances.

Private and quiet, this home has been designed with your comfort in mind. The king-size bed has a 16 inch green memory foam luxury mattress. The 58”and 32” TVs are HDTV streaming. Appliances are new and high-quality.

The open floor plan on the first floor has a large sectional sofa, a dedicated workspace, a laundry center and a full kitchen.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our getaway at The Haven! The unit is ideal for a couple, with the living area separated from the upstairs master bedroom. Everything is brand new and top quality, from open kitchen/living room to the downstairs bath. The washer/dryer was a welcome addition. The location is ideal, in the back of the property on a private street within walking distance to eateries and a short drive to the many amazing wineries in the Willamette Valley. It’s also 30 minutes or less from downtown Portland. I would highly recommend this spot! Thank you!!

Why they chose this property

This property is a guest house on the grounds of Camellia Farmhouse, a home believed to date back to 1857; the first frame home in the area, and the homestead of one of the original Newberg pioneer families.

The property is four short blocks to the restaurants, shops, pubs and wine tasting areas of historic Newberg.

Because there are two driveways and it is a very large lot, we are able to provide fully fenced and private areas for both homes, and are pleased to now offer The Haven as a quiet, peaceful stay in the heart of Newberg.
