Ours is an old Florida house on a charming, quiet street on the barrier island. That is the island between the Inter-coastal and the Atlantic Ocean. We are just north of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. We have a fifty-foot dock and beautiful, newly-renovated pool looking west across the canal, and we are a three-minute walk from the beach. So you have the ocean, the pool, and the Inter-coastal at your fingertips.
We have a double height living room, working fireplace, a glassed-in porch with a screened-in section. Although our kitchen and bathrooms have not been newly renovated, they are well equipped and fully functional. Our house has the charm of old Florida and resonates of the happy lives which have been lived in it. We have owned this house for over forty years. Although it is a beach house, it is filled with lovely furniture, china, and paintings. We want renters who will have fun but who will also appreciate & be respectful of their surroundings as we are inviting them into our home.
We have a wonderful caretaker and a lovely woman who will clean for you twice a week. When you sign a lease, I will give you my own compilation of the area attractions: restaurants, stores, shopping, etc. By the way, all our beds are incredibly comfortable: there is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the north water bedroom, and two twin beds in the front bedroom.

My husband and I live in New York City, but we have both come to Florida for spring vacations since we were children. I have a great affection for Delray Beach and the surrounding area. My mother bought this adorable house more than forty-seven years ago and lived there until she died in 2004. Not wanting to sell the house, we have rented it in the hopes of keeping it. We hope you will come and enjoy our welcoming house, the easy-going lifestyle of the area, and all the activities the area has to offer.

As we explained in the previous paragraph, I inherited my mother's house when she died.
Our house is beautiful, cozy, and comfortable, a world apart, yet it is five minutes walk from the bustle of downtown Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, and it is twenty minutes' drive from Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. One can spend one's time quietly swimming in the pool or ocean, cooking on the grill, and watching sunsets over the canal or one can enjoy the many activities and vibrant nightlife of the surrounding area. There is also a free shuttle service, Delray Downtowners, which will pick you up at our doorstep and take you anywhere in downtown Delray.
This is a beautiful home, filled with lovely furniture and amenities, in a stunning setting. We spent an entire winter season here, and found the owner to be more than generous and helpful....and concerned with making our stay the success it was. The photos, while accurate, are incomplete... and the rest of the house will not disappoint. The ensuite master bath (with direct access to the garden terrace and pool) and dressing room are nice conveniences. The kitchen is not contemporary, but is certainly very well equipped, clean and functional. Quiet neighborhood, but accessible to all the Delray Beach action. Fabulous location. Walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. A perfect house in a perfect place.
Kravitz Center with live theatre and many fabulous restaurant in Delray and the surrounding area. Please note that we are theatre nuts and foodies from NYC.

This property is our home where my family and I have lived. We seek tenants who will enjoy, appreciate, and respect it.
Defined in the Lease depending upon length of stay. Usually, 1/3 down at signing of Lease and the rest delivered three weeks prior to occupancy.
