Villa Tranquila is a home of historical beauty. With stained glass windows, original interior artwork and spectacular grounds, this luxurious home is a vacation destination all in itself. For one looking for elegance, privacy and convenience of location, there is no need to look further.
Downstairs: The living room features a large river rock fireplace, comfortable seating arrangements and a large flat screen TV. Numerous windows and doors look out to the back yard and gracious archways lead to the hallway to one side and the dining room to the other. The mahogany dining set seats 12. The dining room and hallway is the chef's delight; a gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances including a six burner Dacor Professional gas stove, a griddle and two ovens. Off the kitchen is a sunny breakfast nook. Continue through the breakfast nook, past the quaint side entrance way, to the master suite and the other downstairs bedroom. The master suite is spacious, with a fireplace, king bed, French doors to the back deck and an entertainment system with a flat screen television. Off the master bedroom is the master bath, with a double vanity and a dual-head walk-in shower. The master bathroom also has a door into the hallway, so it can be easily shared with the occupants of the second bedroom, which has a king bed and a double futon. There is an additional half bathroom (toilet and sink) off the same hallway.
Upstairs: Stairs from the front hall lead to the upper level, which contains three more bedrooms and one full bathroom. The room at the end of the hall has a king bed and a flat screen TV. The second upstairs room has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds that can easily be converted into a king bed. All three bedrooms are filled with natural light and have views from their windows. The full bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub.
Exterior:Over 1/2 acre of gated grounds
Gated, landscaped grounds surround Villa Tranquila. The front circular driveway passes between a lovely garden and lawn and the front entranceway. The backyard is a tree-lined hideaway,with views of forested hills in the distance. The backyard consists of a large, in-deck 6 person spa, a dining patio with a state-of-the-art BBQ and smoker, chaise lounge chairs, decks, a large lawn,and a woodsy lower area with a fire pit. Villa Tranquila is located at the top of “the hill,” in a quiet and scenic neighborhood. It's a ten minute walk down to Guerneville's shopping, dining, nightlife and the Russian River.
Damage Protection: We offer a $49 damage protection that replaces the $3000 security deposit and $30 security deposit processing fee. When booking through VRBO/HomeAway, the $1000 Refundable Security Deposit and $30 processing fee will show in your rates. To choose the damage protection, put a note comments section of the reservation and we will adjust the rates before processing payment. If no preference is stated, we will contact you.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.
On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 5 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Our office is open from 9 am to 5 pm every day, excluding major holidays.
After making a booking and confirming their security deposit vs. damage protection preference, guests will be sent arrival instructions and a contract with our terms in detail to sign and return. You will be contacted within 24 hours of making your reservation.
No same-day reservations past 2 pm. It should not happen, but in case the system is allowing you to book for same-day arrival and it is after 2 pm, please reach out to us. If it is after 5 pm, please do not complete your reservation; no one will be available to process your reservation and prepare for your arrival.

About Russian River Vacation Homes
We are Russian River Vacation Homes, a part of D&G Equity Management, Inc., a family owned and locally owned/operated property management company. In 1980, D&G founders and owners Michael and Patty saw a need in the area for habitable, affordable housing. At that time, many of the little cabins along the Russian River, originally built as summer cabins, were unsuitable for year-round occupancy. D&G assisted property owners with fixing up and renting their cabins. As the largest property management company in western Sonoma County, D&G Equity Management continues to be a staple in the Russian River community. Russian River Vacation Homes is an off-shoot of D&G. One fine day in 1985, Michael's client, Bob, asked "Hey Mike, can you rent my cabin out just for the week or weekend instead of by the month?" Michael said "Sure!" and Russian River Vacation Homes was born. As renting vacation rentals became more popular, Russian River Vacation Homes grew into a full-time business with its own office. Today, Russian River Vacation Homes professionally manages over 60 high-quality vacation rentals. We strive to make each and every stay the best one ever. Guerneville is also home to the amazing Armstrong Woods, and it's just a quick drive out to the coast! Guerneville is a fun and free spirited town that makes for a great getaway!

Villa Tranquila is just a short walk from downtown Guerneville and the Russian River, and a short drive to amazing hiking in Armstrong Woods and Austin Creek State Recreation area. Villa Tranquila is also a great wine tasting headquarters! Russian River Valley wineries are just 15 minutes away.

Hilltop mountain home
Our extended family of 10 truly enjoyed our escape to the Russian River. This lovely hilltop home was well appointed for our group. We especially enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and viewing the gorgeous night sky from the hot tub and back yard fire pit. Great location to stroll into town for morning coffee, browsing the stores or to walk over the Guerenville bridge. Rooms were clean and comfortable except the upstairs king bedroom which had a very saggy mattress that needs to be replaced. We look forward to returning to this house for a future stay!
The house very comfortable. We were 7 adults, a preschooler and an infant and the bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen is well-equipped and large enough for multiple cooks. We would definitely consider returning another time.
This large house served our needs perfectly as we had 10 family Members celebrate Christmas.
The living room was large and comfortable, the dining room held 10 of us easily, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
Loved the house, the yard, the location. I would definitely recommend this house to family and friends.
Great house for large parties
Great house. More than enough room for our party of 12. The backyard was great, especially with the hot tub and grill outside. The house is clean and well stocked with spices, pots, and pans.
Our party went floating on the river and easily walked the ~0.5 miles back to the house from Johnson's beach. We would definitely come back!
Russian River Jazz/Blues Festival
We had 10 people attending the Russian River Jazz/Blues Festival and needed a comfortable house to accommodate everyone for 4 days. The house was perfect and had enough room for everyone. The backyard was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this house and we will be booking again.

When a reservation is received, we process payment and send an email confirmation within 24 hours or less. Confirmed reservations are final.
