Hummingbird Hacienda - Los Ojos Cabin w/ Brazos Cliff Views

Located in the village of Los Ojos this Hummingbird Hacienda is the perfect place for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle. The views from the cabin are excellent with mountains to the north & east plus the Chama River Valley to the west, enjoy the views from the porch swing or fire pit. The grand room has 20' vaulted wood ceilings and open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living rooms. Two full bathrooms for each room both upstairs and downstairs give guests privacy.

We are available by phone, text, or email during your stay. We live just a couple miles away if a guest needs anything.

Two decks with outdoor seating are definitely a highlight, offering guests scenic views and a peaceful place to relax. The fire pit in the backyard also provides a great opportunity for guests to gather around and share stories. There is plenty of parking available for those with trailers or outdoor equipment. The inclusion of board games and playing cards is a nice touch and encourages quality time with loved ones without relying on electronics. Finally, the proximity to both Heron and El Vado Lake State Parks is a wonderful advantage for those looking to explore the outdoors. Overall, the cabin is a fantastic place to escape and enjoy nature!

Great place to stay

Hummingbird Hacienda was a great location for a stay in Chama. The house is comfortable and decorated nicely. We had plenty of room and no issues. I highly recommend this rental.

This house is cute, cozy, comfortable. Easy highway access, yet quiet. Located close to the Cymbres-Toltec train, hiking/fishing at Lake Heron. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is beautiful and peaceful. I gave them 4 stars only because the faucet handle for the tub in the loft leaked and my grandson didn't get to enjoy the tub and as for the communication, they were great although we are all adults just sent the house rules at once so we know ahead of time.The views are great and your not to far from Heron or El Vado lakes and you're already on the road to the fish hatchery. I will definitely be using Hummingbird Hacienda properties again.

Quiet and restful stay

We are retired now and enjoy short trips from home. This trip included family coming from another state. The kitchen was clean and we enjoyed cooking breakfast, lunch and dinners. The house was close to town but in a family neighborhood. Watching wildlife on the deck was exceptionally fun. We appreciated the attention to detail that was provided to making our stay easy. We are already planning for a return visit in the future.

Everything We Needed for our Stay

This house was perfect for our needs. It had everything we needed to cook with, plus enough space for us to relax while at the house. Like most small towns, everything closes fairly early, so we had to make sure we left early enough to eat out or get to the grocery store before they close if you are cooking at home. Temps were perfect this time of year so not having AC wasn't a problem. Overall, we really enjoyed staying there and will consider doing it again if we ever end up in the area again.
